Sesshomaru's gift

It's been about 3 months since you moved in with Inuyasha and Kagome, and you've already adapted to life there.

It's a sunny morning and the weather is perfect for outdoor affairs.

You're outside picking herbs at a nearby field for Kagome.

You: "One.. two... three.. four-five....... six.. "

(" I wish a cloud or two would block the sun for a little while.. it's getting hot.. ")

A shadow appears over you.

(" I guess I spoke too soon ..")

You turn around to see Sesshomaru standing over you.

"Sesshomaru!"

You get up to kiss him and he spins you around, then puts you back down.

" I was just picking some herbs to bring back to Kagome."

Sesshomaru: "Oh?"

You" Yeap, but I'm about to go back. I think I have enough. "

Sesshomaru: "I will return soon." He says as he walks away

You: "But where are you going???"

Sesshomaru: " For a walk."

You: "Ok... be back before lunch ?" He pauses and then disappears into the forest.

(" He's always walking off somewhere.. ")

You head for Inuyasha's, when a little girl accidentally runs into you.

You: "Ohh! I'm sorry I didn't see you there.. are you alright?" She stares at you. You look to the ground to see a little dolly lying there.

"Here. Did you drop this??" She snatches it from you and you laugh.

"Wouldn't want to lose that now, would you?" you smile.

Little girl: "mm, no. ..Thank you !"

You: "You're welcome sweetie, be careful!"

Little girl: "Mhmm! .. You're pretty !"

You: "Oh.. thank you..... now run along. Goodbye!"

You wink at her and she runs away giggling and squeezing her dolly. You keep walking and soon reach Inuyasha's.

You: "I'm here!"

Inuyasha: "Took ya long enough."

You: "Well, hello to you too!"

Kagome: "Hey! Did you manage to get the herbs?"

You: "Yeap! Just like you asked. "

Kagome: "Great! Thanks, I needed these."

You: "No problem. What do you say we cook lunch? I'm getting hungry. "

Inuyasha: "It's about time, I'm starving over here."

You: "Ok then... what should we cook?"

Inuyasha: "I'm in the mood for rice and soup. "

Kagome: "Alright then! Rice and soup it is! Let's get started. "

The two of you smile at each other and start cooking. Kagome cooks the rice and you handle the soup. Once the food is ready, you put down the plates and bowls. Kagome notices you put a plate and bowl down where no one is sitting.

Kagome: "Who's the extra spot for Sapphire?"

You: "Oh, Sesshomaru."

Kagome: "Where's he off to anyway?"
