The day I found out, me being a child, I thought like every other kid that my mom was going to die. It all started when my mom was feeling terrible and she didn't have a temp. We just asumed she had a cold. So it is summer vacation and I was usually home alone but since my mom wasn't feeling great, she stayed home with me. Once her "cold" didn't go away for five days, she decided it was time to find out what the heck was wrong with her. When she went to the doctor, without me which made me mad, her doctor told her she could have developed appendicitis. They decided they would try for a PET Scan to see if that was her condition. I was there for that. She was put in a tube thing and had to stay in and not move for about 10 to 15 minutes. Before, she told me she hated those tube things because it was like she was stuck into a tiny black hole. Anyways, her doctor told her that wasn't her condition and I was upset because that means something worse could have happened to her. So me being worried, I looked up all possible conditions for her kind of pain. She had problems walking, talking, and keeping down food. Her pain was neer her appendix and around that area. I couldn't find much because I was a kid.
