Background:

Choi DaeJung was born in Canada, his mother Korean and his father Canadian. He spent about 6 years in Canada when his mother decided to move to Korea and take him with, his grandmother had gotten cancer and his mother wanted to be as close to her family as possible.

With the move to Korea, his mother had issues with money and DaeJung had learned to appreciate everything given to him. While growing up a passion had grown within him, he loved singing and dancing and would practice whenever he had the chance.
