Hello everyone~ I'm ureshisan-universe and as you know I'm an artist and I make yaoi content of different ships that I like and in this occasion I'm going totally about this ship that recently got in my life. I have so much love for this ship so that it was a NECESSITY that I had to write and take out from the profound bottom of my heart what I love about these two characters together. I'm talking about the protagonists of the movies Big Hero 6, Hiro Hamada, and Coco, Miguel Rivera.

Without losing any time, let's start~

DISCLAIMER: Every fan arts you're going to see in the following parts of this writing were made by me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am Mexican, and since I learned that Pixar was going to work on a movie related to one of my country's traditions my heart has been filled with an inexplicable emotion. Since I was a kid, Disney and Pixar have been very present in my life. Really, they are part of me and of my person. I always had the dream to see a Disney and/or Pixar movie with people like me: Mexican, with dark skin, speaking Spanish and expressing themselves in the same way we do in México, or any other country of Latin America.

We always see characters of white skin, Europeans from far away lands, with different accents... and a few little apparition of people of color, Latinos, Asians, etc. I mean, there is "The Emperor's New Groove" movie... But I think, if I'm not mistaken, that this is the only one (during that time)  that was related to this part of the world. And well, I always asked myself: How would be a Disney movie related to Mexico like? How would an Aztec princess look like? Or a Mayan God? Etc. Finally, how would Disney/Pixar represent my people, my country.

We had to wait many years for this wish that seemed so far or even impossible to be made a reality. BOOM! Pixar announced a movie related to Mexico, and not only that, but that was going to tell the tradition that represents us the most: "El día de Muertos" (the Day of the Dead). A beautiful tradition, which is my favorite one.

When we were months away from the premiere of Coco, my desires got bigger and bigger. It was an emotion I wouldn't know how to describe. But I got really excited when I heard that the movie was going to premiere first in Mexico, and even better: ON THE DAY OF MY BIRTHDAY (October 27th.) In reality, I admit that my birthday that year (2017) was the best I ever had. What's best present for a Disney/Pixar fan than the premiere of a movie that they've been wishing to see for years?

IN CONCLUSION, I fell in love with Coco. It's all I can say. I don't care what the other people think, Coco is a movie that stole my heart from the moment the mariachi version of the Disney Castle credits started playing, even before the movie truly began... and I'm in love with Miguel. He is a character I identify a lot with.

Leaving aside the fact that he is Mexican, his personality, his passion for music (which in my case is drawing and art, however music isn't far behind as I love singing), his feeling of being repressed by his own family that doesn't accept that he is different from the others, everything there is something that I understand perfectly. And I like it. (NOTE: This gif is one of my favorites. I LOVE Miguel in that scene)

I LOVE Miguel in that scene)
