Principal  Marino told me that she would call my parents... meaning mom.

Once I got home, i got a hell of butt whooping. She slapped me & told me how does it feel now that you're being slapped. My dad walked in the house when she was whooping me. He called the police. He asked my mom if she was still drinking. She told him what i did. My dad didn't care he told her he would've done the same. The police came under 5 minutes. My dad kissed me goodbye. He only came to get his mail & give me a $100 dollar bill that he always gives me every week.

The Next morning, my mom was back. She told me im lucky that dad came in when he did. Tuh, you're lucky that you got to see where you would spend the rest of your life after another police call.

Today I was proud of myself because i didn't get in trouble at school. Im usually at the principals office. But today i got 3 tardies, a warning, a letter home & another anger management lesson from the guidance counselor.

When i got home, my dad was there. i gave him the letter from school. he told me he was here cause my mom called him about something.

She walked out of her room.

"I don't care if were not together but you're gonna escort me to that party tomorrow. "

"What party are you talking about?" dad asked.

"Oh yeah, i forgot you dont live here anymore. I guess they didn't send the invitation to the area where you live." she said

"The prince of england invited us to a party tomorrow. " i said.

Dad nodded.

"Fine, Ill escort you under one condition. "

"What!?"

"You be nice to our daughter for as long as shes living under my roof." dad said.

"Your roof?" mom asked.

"You live here. I pay for it." dad said.

I was happy dad was being mean to mom. I wanted to ask her how does it feel.

My dad told me tomorrow he will be taking me & my sister shopping to get our dresses for the party. He told me good night & told me until tomorrow.
