Orange Juice

One day I was sitting at home on the computer and I was talking with my friends on Facebook and looking through my notifications. 

Suddenly, a wet sensation came upon me.

My shirt was stained in a yellow-liquidy color and my heart stopped beating.

What in the world could this be? I thought.

I examined it with my five senses by touching, smelling, listening, thinking, and worst of all-- tasting.

It felt sticky and part of it sticked to my fingers. It had an odd smell that was sour yet sweet. I listened to it, but it made no sound. I thought of it and I couldn't find out what it was.

Then I tasted it.

I shut my eyes and winced as I licked my shirt.

It tasted like oranges.

Is this orange juice? I asked myself.

Yes, yes it is. I answered.

I looked over and orange juice was dripping on the carpet.

I stared in amazement--how could I have not known this? 

I stared at dumbfounded, thinking of nothing else but the juice. I heard a buzzing noise--probably someone talking, but I didn't listen to it for I was too focused on the incident.

Then I felt a hot burning pain across my face. I just got slapped by my mom.
