Wake up, honey. Please wake up. You're alright, you're ok.
I opened my eyes, to see my mother. I'm home?
She looks a lot younger than the last time I saw her. I swallowed, "Mom?". My voice was audible. She nodded, smiling.
I looked at her like she was crazy. What's going on?
"You ready to go? We were supposed to leave an hour ago." She chuckles. "Where? Wait how did I get here?" I was so confused.
She stopped smiling and looked at me eyes wide. She stood there not saying a word, "You need to leave." I heard her say but her mouth didn't move. "What? Mom what's happening?" I put my hand on hers.
"Mom?" Her eyes held so much emotion, but there she stood blank.
Suddenly there was a hand on my shoulder, I turned to see mom looking down at me with a scared and worried look.
"Please baby. Leave, before you're caught!" She whispered. I stood but was pulled back down by mom. "Hurry!" She pulled my other arm.
"Wait! Stop pulling me!" I yanked my arms loose. They both looked at me. Why are there two of them?
"Centra you need to leave, there is a car waiting for you outside. Go!" Both mothers pushed me to the door.
As I stumbled to my feet one of them placed a pen in my hand. "Use this."
I was about to ask what I needed it for but they disappeared, the whole room vanished. I was standing before a man on his knees. He looked old and weak. "Please." He begged.
I stepped back, "Use the pen." My mothers voice filled my head. "Use the pen. The pen!" The old man looked up me. Plead in his eyes. "Quickly Centra! Use the pen before it's too late!"
I looked at my hands but in the pens place was a rock.
"Why did you wait?" Her voice faded. The old man stood and walked to me. The closer he got the stronger and more powerful he looked.
"Please." He said. "Please what?!? What's going on?"
"Please Viola, stay with me. Stay for the  boy. He needs you!" The man broke down in tears.
"Daddy?" I heard a small voice from behind who I am assuming is his father. A young boy, no older then ten waited behind a tree.
"Viola please, I beg you! Stay with me and the boy." I looked back at the child. "What's your name?" I asked him. But instead of an answer the boy just stared at me.
I was about to ask again but my face went cold. I felt something metal and cool slide across my cheek. "Hold still hun, or this'll be a lot more painful than it has to be." A deep hoarse voice came from behind me.
The man and child were gone, the trees turned to ashes. I was standing above fire and people screaming in agony.
I didn't move afraid that the blade would cut the string of my young life. "Who are you?" I said. The man touched the blade to my temple, "Where is it?" He asked.
I felt my eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Where is what?" He pressed the metal harder onto my skin. I'm guessing he didn't like my response.

I didn't understand anything. Don't know where I am, who this man is or who Viola is! No one is telling me anything and this man is about to slit my throat ending my reality.
"Centra." My mothers voice filled my mind once again. "Centra, run." I shook my head, tears about to escape. "I can't." I cried out.
I blinked trying to hide my tears but once my eyes opened my mom stood in front of me. The man with the knife was no longer behind me and I felt my heart beat return to its regular state.
"Yes you can" she placed her hand over my eyes. "You need to run."
One tear finally escaped then everything disappeared.
