Zen: "n-now... where am I...?"

Zen looked around, he saw that he was in a dark office full of books and filled with file cabinets with unknown information and names that he can't read. Zen walked around, he walked to a bookshelf and he shined the light at thw bookshelf as he picked up the book and tried reading the cover.

Zen tried reading the cover but he couldn't read it, it was in greek. He couldn't read greek.

Zen: "what the hell...?"

He put the book back as he walked around and he found cabinet files next to the bookshelf. It seems it was locked since there was a code needed to be put in.

Zen: "codes huh?... I bet that this room is like one of those escape the room games..."

He started walking around the room looking for a code as he walked to the seat that was near a window, he went behind the desk as he saw multiple drawers and he pulled a drawer back as it had pens and papers that were organized and seems he found a box.

He took the box out of the drawer as he looked at it with a weird expression on his face.

Zen: "a box that is shaped like a heart... is weird..."

He opened the box as it had a key and a paper that had a code on it.

"9452"

Seems he took the key and the piece of paper and he walked to the file cabinet and he entered the code in and it opened. He opened the drawer as he looked in the file cabinet, seems there were only two files in the file cabinet.

Zen: "it's interesting that there's only two files in there... I might as well read it..."

He took one of the files as he opens it, he looked at the picture with the little girl in it as she was smiling and it showed her private life and info.

Name: "Sasha Terra Rivers"

Age: "10"

Birth: "September 7th, 1935"

Likes: "her stuffed animal named: Snowy, she also likes to hold knives and dangerous things, always happy and smiles"

Dislikes: "people who read her books and information, doesn't like people touching her stuffed animal"

Other information: "She never lies in her life, she thinks she's the best person in the world, always #1, She is quite the brat sometimes, she only likes sponge cake, the only way to calm her down is that cake"

Then he closed the file as he puts it back in the file cabinet.

Zen: "s-she's scary... ok... I think that kid has some problems to resolve..."

Then he took the other file as he opens it, it showed a man with black hair and a business suit, and with glasses. He looked unhappy with a serious look on his face, he looked grumpy.

Zen: "ok... this dude is scarier..."

He started reading the file.

Name: "Derek Scarlet Rivers"

Age: "29"

Birth: "May 15, 1906"

Likes: "Being alone, He wants everything to be clean, likes Earl grey tea, he loves doing work, always depends on his own child to get good grades"

Dislikes: " a disappointment of a child, he hates dirty things, frogs, and taking breaks"

Other info: this man is not scary once you get to know him, he is always logical in some ways, he doesn't like to be grumpy nor mad all of the times but that's how he is since he doesn't like to smile often, he's a good man in his own flaws, hes handsome but he's nice once you get to know him"

Zen: "w-wow... he sounds and looks logical..."

He put the file back in the file cabinet as he closed it and he locked it and as he turned around, he saw the dude that looked like "Derek Rivers" and he jumped and he gets scared and he moves back as his eyes widened with that scared expression on his face.

Zen: "W-W-WHAT A-ARE Y-Y-Y-YOU D-DOING HERE...!?" he was scared and frightened.

Derek: "I got summoned here to see if someone was messing with my files..."

He had a deep voice.

Zen: "I-I'M SORRY!! I P-PROMISE NOT TO MESS WITH IT AGAIN!!"

Derek: "it's too late my boy, you already opened it, what's the point in that? I mean you already know a little bit of myself, yes I know I'm 29 but I look like I'm 36 right?..."

Zen: "y-yeah..."

Derek: "what people say about me aren't true... people say that I'm scary, I'm not really... but the only scary person in this house is my own daughter..."

Zen: "ok that sounds messed up... why are you scared of your own daughter?..."

Derek showed that there was a hole in his heart, it looked like it was carved out too.

Derek: "my own daughter... is insane... she carved out my heart... and I regret it so much... I didn't give her the attention she wanted... I was cold towards her... but I know it sounds crazy... but everyone in this house is depending on you... you're the only one who can put her to rest..."

Zen: "this is like a moive cliche now... It happens in every scary movie..."

Derek: "what is... a movie cliche?..."

Zen: "oh! Don't worry about it... I just... need to get out of here..."

Derek: "the only way out is to play along with my daughter and give her the attention she wants... and put her to rest... it will send you home after that..."

Zen: "ugh... I hear your words Derek... I'll put her to rest... Leave everything to me...!"

Zen smiled as Derek gently smiled but he held out his arm as Derek had a bat with nails in them that was brand new and a knife that was clean and new.

Derek: "you'll need these... just in case if any of the members in this house attack you..."

Zen: "thank you Derek..."

Derek faded away as he smiled. Zen started heading towards the door, but before he goes he found a leather string on the floor as he picked it up... he took the key out of his pocket as he tied the string around the key then his neck and he puts the necklace on and he shoved the key in his sweater and shirt and he moved on to the door.

He opened the door carefully as he looked around. Seems everything was clear as he walked out of the door. He was sweating a bit as he was nervous. He started walking in the halls as he started walking to his left of the eerie hallway.

To be continued...

Author's note:
The picture represents the office. It's close to what it looks like but without the file cabinets just imagine them on the left of the picture somewhere. Bye! Sorry I updated it bit late! School work! Bye!
