The woman walked through the streets, heals sounding against the pavement.

She made her way to the 'younger part of town' a bottle of bear in hand.

Her hair was tousled in all directions and her red lipstick was smudged.

Eyes dead and puffy, dark circles and dipped cheeks.

She felt slightly empty as she stood at the crossroad, looking at the young students that populated the streets.

Her heart was sore, ever since her husband had left, she could have never been happy.

She distroyed the happiness around her out of jealousy, bringing herself up by dragging others down.

She hated seeing people stronger than her, especially when they were younger.

She hated seeing her son manage his life beter than her.

Jealous.

Of his strong friendship when he was younger, the love he received from that boy she had seen in her house a few times.

She was jealous of his strong gaze as he raised his chin up infront of her, that day he had promised to proctect his sister.

That kid scared her. He was strong and mature.
All the thing she lacked, she saw them in him.

Her biggest wish was to see him break, maybe that way she could feel stronger than the strongest person she knew

But she failed.

He had found a new family.

She wanted to yell the frustration and hate towards the world who never seemed to be on her side.

Her eyes looked at the happy couple next to her and she felt a pang of pain, anger levels rising before the light turned green.

She dragged her heals down the crosswalk and landed on a large street. Students running all over the place for street food.

Her eyes focused on a very familiar nine year old, running around happily as she smiled.

She jumped in a man's arms she didn't reconised.

The tall man held her waist and brought her on his shoulders, hands holding her carefully. She grinned and laughed, the boy holding her flashing a blinding smile as well.

Not long after a black haired boy caught up to them.

The woman reconised him, he had really grown since she had last seen him. He was the boy that always smiled when she opened the door for him, the boy that had been Yoongi's friend when they were still young.

The boy was followed by another black head she didn't reconise, flashing a boxy smile as he jumped up slightly to ruffle Naho's hair.

The woman watched all their smiles with dread, her hands limp along her stiff body.

And finally, two boys joined them, hands interlocked.

The blonde holding an ice cream and the other a small bag of biscuits.

The ice cream was handed to Naho, who gleefully bend down to grab it with her slightly chubby hands. As soon as the bag of treats was opened, the large hands darted to have a piece.

They all are happily with bright smiles.

Except him,

He was looking straight at her with a gaze she couldn't suite read.

She took a step forward, balling her hands in fists.

She knew no matter what she would do he wouldn't hit back, because he didn't really have a choice.

But she stopped in her tracks when she noticed the man who held Naho look at her, he had a powerful gaze that showed he would not hesitate.

Slowly, all their eyes were on her.

All the boys looked like they were ready to fight an army.

Then the blonde's arm wrapped around her son's shoulder and pulled him to walk away, the others following.

All of them either ruffling his hair or patting his back.

She let a single tear roll down her pale cheek.

He had found his happiness,

Where was hers...
