These days words become slurs
Thrown at peoples faces.
From simple and true
These words are turned to hate.
I mean cmon when did
"Not like me" become unordinary.
As if we wanna shun people further
Away from ever feeling normal.
But FUCK who am I to say
What normal is when it's all a daze.
From word to word now known as hate.
Trying hard to fight for what's right
But my right is not your right.
And words are used to offend when
They describe something different.
Yet we're all in a world just trying to feel good
But talking simple terms way too personally
And spitting them out like venom.
