okay this is the full version of my theory.
first, i mention the lantern. that is like the truth, jin trying to protect it, not wanting the truth to be told.
every member is in a different room. i was thinking are they trapped there by their fears?
jungkook looks through cracks - could it be he's the only one who can roam freely without being trapped? he is discovering the truth of where everyone is. he then enters the room with the waterfall. the sand turns into the pedals - jin's flower pedals.
i think this was a sign that seokjin wanted jungkook to find out so he could save everyone - instead of seokjin trying to save them but having to hide the truth ("i grew a flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true.) he wants to save them so he came up with this plan, but it didn't work out.
