Kylie's pov
I wake up not in my bed but my workspace above my bed I get up and stretch. Who lied could it be dad? I don't even know who he is tho. Maybe gram had something on him? I go down my slide to get to my bed and go to the bookshelf. I look to find a scrapbook the writing is similar to the writing of my mother's. It has a missing picture of someone named Charlie Matherson jr with his picture, later on, I see a picture of a lady that looks like grandma but younger. Could that be mom? I look next to her is a guy he is dangerously skinny with shaggy hair that so dirty it looks black his face looks hidden and he is wearing old shorts. I have no clue who this is but I look up Charlie Matherson Jr I wonder who he is? I look and look then I find a picture a girl that looks similar to me as a child with this Charlie. Is that my mom but who is Charlie? I look through the book all the pictures are of mom and this man but I notice in the shadows a tall; slender man.

I looked through the whole book I'm just staring at the back I notice the paper looks torn up. I found this strange because the book was neat. The only thing is it looked like someone started searching for someone. The handwriting also slowly changed it looked more... mature like an older person did it it wasn't a slow change either just halfway through. I peeled at the back the first part looked like a child's handwriting the other half the mature; neat writing. I read the childish writing first ' if she doesn't listen to my warning then this letter goes to you he will come for you if he knows your alive. If you want to look for an answer well don't and never go to the forest he will get you faster, love dad,' my eyes widen he is my dad. I stand up and start to run out if my room but remember that there was another part of the letter I go and started to read it. ' to my dearest Kylie I did half the work for you but your father was right he will look for you hide in the shadows and stay away from the proxies do not make the same mistake your mother did and I'm warning you now stay away from Logan and the forest'. My mother died because of a proxy WHAT THE HELLS A PROXY?! I head straight to the forest in a blind rage.

I don't know how long I've been in the forest all I hear is static. My paranoia is at an all-time high. I feel like I want to end it all and leave this miserable world. I don't know how long he has been in front of me but I suddenly notice the guy in the yellowish color jacket wearing a white feminine mask. He was holding a crowbar with his arms crossed leaning on the tree. " you snap back to reality yet sunshine" the man says. I feel rage at his cocky attitude but I realized something.... he might know what a proxy is. My mind act before my brain and I blurt out my questions " do you know what a proxy is? Who lying to me? Who are you? Who is Charlie Matherson jr?" He chuckles at this "so they did warn you yet, you still came to the forest" "ANSWER MY QUESTION!" I screamed he came over pushed me to a tree and covered my mouth. "I will answer three of your question" he states "I know what a proxy is, You can call masky and well good old Charlie was believed to be your father that's what master thought anyways." He answered. He moves his head like he's listening to something. I soon notice the sound of someone running they sound like they could do it all day. "I would start running sweatheart don't want the chaser to get you," he says and turns around "oh I almost forgot don't come back to the forest if you have a brain also make the other proxies don't follow you I suggest staying at someone's house," he said when he disappeared in the shadows I run out of the forest and kept running till I got home I'm going to figure out what's going on. I head to bed my last thought before sleep drifting to masky and the letter. Where is dad? Who is masky? Why did gram say to stay way from logan?

Masky's pov
I told her to run if master finds out I will probably be punished. I see Kate "what's with the yelling" she growls. " I don't know probably some girls fighting" I see hoodie and Toby ugh I hate that guy " well if it isn't Mr. Rodgers" I say cockily try to piss him off " and Brian". " shut up y-you know I hate be-being called that" Toby say I know I made him mad " I told you not to call me by my name". I ignore him and head to the cabin in the cabin in the woods wear us proxies stay. As we get closer hoodie jumps in front of me gun pointed at my head hoodie behind me axes ready to attack and kate ready to pounce. "You were with the girl master wants and didn't bring her" kate growls " you know he wants to take care of all the Matherson that's why when Charlie stopped obeying he killed him" i wasn't paying attention to their lies looking for a way out no one is covering towards a cliff that goes into a lake. I jump in and start swimming towards the park. I don't know why but I have a feeling I need to keep her safe and I remember what Charlie said when we chased him down

Kate and I were chasing Charlie he wasn't as fast as kate and not as strong as me but he was a good proxy. I love killing and hate being tied down but I always came through for the master. I wonder what happened to Charlie? Kate ran ahead and tackled Charlie down she rustled a bit then got up "any last words." She snarled " don't hurt my moon and lunie," he says "oh your wife and possible kid hoodie and Toby are taking care of them right now"I say with a chuckle I see Toby in the background with hoodie "n-no sign of the kid" I look at Charlie " where is she?" I spat I may be young but I was not one to mess with. none of us were full proxies just kate and Charlie we only worked for the master during our blackouts. He looks at me "she will be your redemption" he takes at a dagger kate and I get ready to pounce but he stabbed himself.

I sit in the park seeing kylies "friend" Logan I see kylies house from here too he sits there and watches her house.

I wake up to a knock on my door I get up and open the door to see masky " come in"I grumble and walk to the kitchen for breakfast. " I told you not to stay at your place" he says not in his usual tone. " why the hell do you care" I snap he puts his hands up "I guess you don't want to know what happened to your dad or mom" he started but I cut him off " they abanded me I don't give a fuck" I state " what about your grammy she was murdered"I looked at him shocked I was the only person that thought that " i'll give you all your anwsers" he says driveing my temptation. I nod and he replied with " where should we begin sunshine?".
