Chapter 4: The Carnival

*Alysia*

It was around 4 p.m already, Renee and Danielle would be coming over soon so we can get ready for the carnival. I honestly could not wait! I thought about all the food.. mm..

Gosh, I'm hungry, my stomach growled in agreement. Right on Frank! I patted him and told him only a bit more and i'll get you some food amigo!

Ding, Dong!

That must be them I skipped over to the door happily and opened it to reveal none other than, Xander.

My good mood went down the potty. I scowled at him, "What do you want?"

"I'm bored."

"What do you want me to do about it?" I rolled my eyes. My hands itching to push him out and slam the door.

"Whatcha doing?" He squinted his eyes at me.

"Waiting for the girls to go--" I stopped, "Why am I telling you?"

"Yeah...why are you?"

"Why are you here!" I huffed, "Go home loser!"

He put his hands over his heart, "Harsh. Oh baby, you wound me" He fake cried. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. I turned and went to the kitchen to grab and apple. Apples are better than him. Apples are cool, like firetrucks. They're like Vrooooom! Baaaa baaaaa! Yeah.

I walked back into the room while he just smiled and said, "Whelp, I better get going"

I rejoiced inside my head. He's leaving me alone!

*Xander*

Ha! I did it. I can't wait until she freaks out! Man, i'm a freaking genius. I smirked to myself.

I looked at the shiny object in my hand slipping it into my pocket.

Oh the wonders of life. Tormenting the girl you lo-hate. I said hate. I scratched my head. I need to get out tonight.

I texted the guys seeing if they wanted to hang out tonight.

'Anything good tonight?

'Yeah man there's a carnival, pick you up in 15?

-Craig'

'Okay bro

I slipped my phone into my pocket, walked next door straight into my house. Mom was there with Mrs. Carter.

"Hey mom, Mrs. carter" I smiled to them. Mrs. Carter was nothing like her daughter she was great and nice. While Aly just wasn't.

"How many times do I have to tell you call me Rachel" She scolded me.

"At least once more" I smiled at her, "Mom i'm heading out to that carnival in a bit, that okay?"

"Sure sweetheart"

"Thanks mom"

I got dressed in a long sleeved V-neck with some skinny jeans and some boots, I also added in a scarf and curled my hair.It was going to be chilly tonight. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and approved.

I grabbed my purse while the girls  were still getting ready, "Hurry up!"

They finally finished and ran downstairs almost tripping the in process. I choked back a laugh.

"You guys look great!" I gushed excitedly.

"Thanks so do you!"

We met Caden, his friend Craig and surprisingly Liam. I smiled in delight that I got to see him again. Then the monster showed up. Xander, what was he doing here, when he saw me he looked confused.

"Hey craig"

"Hey man, this is Caden and Liam" They did the bro hug. The 'manly hug'. I scoffed.

They all turned to look at me and I turned beet red. Xander raising his eyebrow smirking at me.

I need to call mom, we're staying later than expected. I searched my entire bag. I started to freak out.

Where is it! Where is my baby!

I smirked, that'll teach her not to mess with me. I patted my pocket to where the phone was.

I heard her mutter something about calling it. Shit.

Why am I so stupid! I felt my smirk drop. Shit I needed to get out of here!

"Uh I got to uh pee!" I practially yelled.  Right when I turned, 'Ah, push it Ah, push it

"Xander..." She glared at me,"Why is my ringtone coming from your crotch?"

I gulped, oh dear god, help me!

"Was that your phone?" I acted dumb, "I must've taken it by mistake"

I scratched my head hoping she would believe me. She smiled at me then smacked me on the arm.

"Ow!" I screeched, "Woman! That's abuse!"

"You liar!"

"Okay so I took it!"I admitted then she hit me again! What the hell! This girl is crazy.

"Thats what you get for posting that picture!" I huffed loudly in annoyance from the abuse.

"Haha oh man! That was grea-- I mean man you okay right?" Craig coughed while Liam just busted up laughing.

She smiled at me and then hit me then said, "You ever touch it again, I'll kill you" She said motioning the slit throat. She was threatening me?!

I glared at her and smirked, "Alright but you can touch mine" I winked at her. ha! Her face. Liam sobered up fast at that comment and narrowed his eyes at me. Oh so he's taken interest in her. That's cool.. I glared at him.

She looked at him smiling as he asked her to go on the ferris wheel with him.

Something in my chest shifted. Damn I need to check that out. I could die!

I stared at them while they disappeared into the crowd. I hate her and that jerk. He laughed at me, I scoffed, loser.
