Maybe, Not Normal ~Chapter 2

End of the school day

all doors are open

kids running out of there,

screaming like they haven't ever seen the sun,

like they just escaped from hell

all that, just to climb into a big ass, yellow bus

full of laughter, and joy that the day is over

unless you don't have really any friends on the bus

like I did

just acquaintances

I took a seat kinda towards the back

where I usually sit

I watch as the people pass me

but one person

that one person who stared at me

stood out

we made eye contacted

as he walked by

and he gave me that warm smile again

he walked to the back by Hai

and sat with him

but kept his eyes on me

even when I turned around to face the front

I could still feel his eyes burning the back of my head

His was the second stop

when he walked past me,

never taking his eyes off me

said, "Bye" with that smile

I just smiled back

Hai looked at him weird,

then looked back at me

and mouthed, 'he likes you'

I looked the other way

so he wouldn't see me blush

I looked out the window

and watched them walk away

he was still looking up

trying to find me

but I looked away before he could

I didn't look out until the bus started moving again

he had already passed by then

I stared out the window the rest of the way home

we lived far apart

he lived in town

almost 3 miles away from the school

I lived 20 miles away from it

outside of town

on the border of a different town

but I liked it

we had a lake right behind us

and breathing taking views every where you looked

every season

that's Wisconsin

my life

Walking home,

I couldn't get my mind off him

I didn't even know his name

just that it started with an L

I tried remembering it

Lucas, Luciano, Leonardo

none of them ringed a bell

Once I got home

I went straight to my computer

like I always do

and went on my Facebook

to find a new friend request from someone

it was him
