Chapter 17

Harry's POV

I woke up with a note beside my bed, it was from Niall.

Hey Harry, I just want you to know that I am going home already. I didn't wanna wake you up because you were too cute. Plus you must be really tired. ;) -Niall

I also happen to receive a text from Niall. As soon a I read it, I couldn't help but smile. I sent him one back.

To: Nialler

From: Haz

Hey baby, just woke up. Sad that you weren't the first thing I saw though. :( see you in school. Love you with my entire heart. x

I smiled as I thought of last night. It actually made me forget about the whole Josh thing. Plus I really proved to Niall that I loved him.

As soon as I saw him the next day, he was with Josh, Liam, Louis and Zayn.

Liam has finally warmed to the idea of Josh. He's really convinced that Josh has changed. Louis is still quite awkward with him and Zayn still looks like he's gonna punch Josh the moment he makes a move.

I walked over to them, casually holding Niall's hand behind our backs so that no one alse can see.

Niall smiled at me and I said "Did you walk home alone?" before Niall could say anything, Josh said "Nope. I walked with  him halfway"

Wait. WHAT? Josh and Niall walked to Niall's home alone and together!? I looked at Niall and said "did he hurt you?" Josh rolled his eyes but I chose to ignore him.

Niall held my hand tighter and said "Don't worry. He did nothing and uhm, do you know a place where we can be alone?" Louis rolled his eyes and smirked.

I smiled "of course I do"

We went up to the rooftop where we always go to when we need to get away from people and as soon as I closed the door, I pushed him against the wall and kissed him.

As I pulled away, Niall said "Don't worry. I think Josh really has changed" I pouted "but I don't want you to be alone with him"

Niall scrunched up his nose and pinched my cheeks "at least I'm safe and here right now, right?" I smiled and nodded.

Niall smirked "plus we had a rocking night" I couldn't help but blush as I remember "ah yes. We did" we both chuckled and kissed some more.

We kissed one more time and headed to first class. As we entered, I heard people whisper "Why is Niall with Harry? isn't he suppose to be with Josh?" "Is Niall cheating on Josh?" "Is Harry flirting with Niall now? That flirt"

And here comes Josh who shouts "Oh Harry, thank god you found Niall! I would have gone crazy if my baby leprechaun was missing"

He walked over to us and held Niall's hand. I felt instantly jealous. Niall said "Oh Josh. You don't have to be so worried!"

The two of them received a bunch if "awwws" from the crowd. I could feel the jealousy eating me alive. But after all, it was my fault that Niall and I can never hold hands in public.

The two walked to their seat with me following after them. Louis shot me a pitiful look and I just gave him a shrug.

It's all an act Harry, it's all an act. Niall will never love Josh after everything he did to him.

But then Josh did change. No Harry no! Niall loves you, and you love him too. You made that very clear.

Niall looked at me and whispered "you okay?" I forced a smile and nodded, Niall wasn't convinced though because he looked worried the whole period.

Niall and Josh had to go for a "couple stroll" in the garden with the boys trailing behind, leavin me with the girls.

Eleanor said "Are you okay Harry? You seem down" I shook my head and smiled 'I'm fine El" Perrie rolled her eyes "No you're not. Are you worried about Niall again"

I sighed and shrugged "i don't know anymore. I try to convince myself that Niall will never fall for Josh and Niall does the same thing but I feel like one day, everything will disappear, in one poof."

Danielle said "If you love Niall then you have to go through these challenges to be together!" I whined "but that's the problem! We can't!"

Perrie crossed her arms "why not?" "b-because I'm too scared" Elanor patted my back sympathetically "Oh Haz, that's one of the challenges you have to go through!"

I said "what if I can't?" Perrie said "grow some balls Harry! Look at Niall! He's gone through so much more than you did. And here he is, holding another man's hand just to cover up something you're ashamed of. I can see it with my two eyes that you love each other, but if you keep Niall waiting, no matter how patient he is, someone's bound to sweep him off his feet. And it's not gonna be you"

It struck me. Perrie was right. I'm useless.

I sighed one more time as the girls hugged me and I thought of a plan.
