And that happened. Right now, they were gathered in the dining table, eating dinner.

"So..you're telling me that she is your girlfriend?" His father interrogates him as he nods. "Since when?!" It was making them tensed. "It's only been three months." He answered as Sooyoung almost spit the food she was eating.

"Yah, don't be obvious." He whispered at her as she glared at him. "Arasseo. Geunde, how did you two met?" Another question they received. He nudged her shoulder telling her to answer it. "Ah.. we're classmate, Sir. We live in the same dormitory." She calmly said with a forced smile.

"Gurae?! Then you two, sticks always together then, eoh?" Their answers are not helping. It's making them more stunned. "Ye? Ani.." she slipped as he stopped her. "Ne, appa! we're glued everywhere we go." He exclaimed as he was feeling embarrassed right now.

"Arasseo. Then.. you two should get married, if that's the case."

"MWO?!" they cried out loud.

They were flustered to hear that. They were just friends and known each other the last day and then talking about marriage is an unusual and absurd memory for them. Really, it is.

She directly swallowed the food she ate, startled by the sudden statement his father gave. He was also the same, and more in trouble.

"Appa!" He stood up from his chair, raising his voice. "Aren't you too much?! I'm not going to make you do what you want. I'm 23 years old and I can handle myself!"

His emotions that he kept were all now, expressed.

He grabbed her wrist, as she stood up and followed him. They headed out of the place and walks with a not so good condition.

Leading their walk as she was inches behind him. She knew that he was overloaded with thoughts and didn't want to make him more depressed. Shutting her mouth, keeping quiet as they walk on the way to the bus stop.

Meanwhile she was full of thoughts also. And one of that is related earlier. As she saw his photo that was placed in the side table at his house, with a description, him looking at his mom, felt like he was in happiness. Yet right now, when she looked at his eyes, all she can see..

"Sooyoung-ah.." he looked back, as she meet his eyes. "Today.. I'm sorry." He tells as she was quiet.

All she can see in his eyes, was sadness. Pure sadness.

"I'm sorry and also thank you, for coming with me tonight." He said with a shaky voice. Standing in that alley as the cold breeze was embracing them. In the moment all she can do, was look at him and listen.

"I think, we should end everything here.. our promises should be fulfilled." He mumbled as she tried to open her mouth. "Right. It's for the best also." mustered herself to tell that as he gave her a smile.

They went home together and started treating each other as a strangers. Directing to their room, plopped theirselves onto their own bed as it was a tiring day.

"I hope his okay.." she mumbled to herself. The way she saw him earlier with a heavy burden carrying on, she felt sad. His been a good friend also. She thought.

"I'm screwed. I didn't get my car." he speaks to himself, sighing in frustration. Yes, even though the car was his real intention, saying those words to his father made him sad and hurt also. Hurt because he remembered those hard times he was enduring. Pains and pins were stabbing him that he couldn't let a smile visit his face that time. And it was those days where his mom is sick.
