I sat on my thrown listening to a demon's request of being relieved of his sentence to death for the murder of another. He gave me many reasons but none helped what so ever. I raised my hand silencing his current plead.

" I've heard enough of this. You are simply wasting your time. Return him to the dungeons and prepare for an execution." I stated bluntly watching as the demon's face changed from a forced pleading face to one of pure hatred.

"TO HELL WITH YOU QUEEN!! YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN YOUR BROTHER!!! I CURSE YOU TO HELL AND SUFFERING!!"   I rose from my seat and walked down to him. I grasped at his throat lifting him off his footing. He gaped at me and clutched my arm.

"Don't ever speak to me with such venom on your tongue or I will ensure your death is slow and agonizing. Understood?" The demon gasped for breath and clawed at my grip. I dropped him as my gruards took hold of his arms pulling him away.

"Oh and I'm already in hell." I said as he left with the doors slamming behind him. I sighed and sat in my thrown once more relaxing my shoulders.

"I shall be finished with these meeting for today. Schedule the next demon for two dawns from now please Insidious." I said to my loyal knight. He nodded and walked off to inform the others of my statement. I stood once more walking off to my bedroom. I closed my door feeling the loneliness fill my heart once more. I sat in front of my mirror and removed my crown from my head setting it on the small cushion. I looked into the mirror taking in my features. My eyes had dark hollows underneath them while my skin was a very pale shade. My lips had a purple tint to them making them seem sickly ill. My fangs where slightly smaller than my brother's except they weren't for eating like him. I ate either angel's blood or rotten carcasses for nutrients. I had oddly white teeth for my diet but never cared to admire them. My eyes where two separate colors but one was hidden so they wouldn't be notice able. My left was a cool grey and the other a deep red. My ears where long and animalistic indicating that I was in fact not human. I sighed and walked to my bed flopping down to rest. I closed my eyes attempting to sleep but never succeeded. I sat there for hours and never slept. I felt a hand meet my shoulder and cold lips meet my temple.

"Time to get up Mortemseeker." Came Marshall's voice as he removed his hand walking back. I opened my eyes and pushed myself up. I looked a my brother and offered a loving smile.

"Hello Marshall." I had a hint of Russian to my voice that always made my words sound odd. I stood and stretched my small frame.

"Come on it's time to go see Gummy butt again." Marshall opened the portal to his realm. I had met Gumball a few years back while visiting the realm he and Marshall called home. He was an interesting male and was one of my only and really close friends. I walked in after Marshall entering his realm. I walked after him as he led me down the halls of Gumball's castle. I looked around taking in all the bright colors. I sighed moving my gaze forward as the colors made my eyes bleed. The thing was the area was more gloomy than normal. Usually Gumball was up and around running from hallway to hallway it seemed. Then again I was slow for my size. "Marshall why are we hear exactly?" I asked crossing my hands in front of my body. Marshall twisted mid air looking back at me.

"He won't leave his lab. Fionna and Cake couldn't get him out so your our next option. He listens to you better." I nodded in response and continued to follow him. We came to the door that led into Gumball's lab which was producing odd sounds from behind it. I walked up and knocked on the door.

"Gumball? May I come in?" I asked calmly tilting my head slightly. There was no response. I sighed and pushed open the door looking inside. It was dark except the shape of the door where light came in. I looked around spotting a slumped figure working on a project with little tools. I walked in and over to him. I gently put my hand on his shoulder and leaned forward flicking on the lamp in front of him. When the light took it's claim on the area before him he flinched back into my chest. I looked over his shoulder to see a small electric board under his hands.

"Gumball. You shouldn't do this to your body it's unhealthy." I spoke softly next to his ear hugging him. Gumball looked at the board and started working once more. I flicked my ear and gently stepped back. I took Gumball's tools setting them aside then took his shoulders turning him around in his chair. Gumball looked up at me. His eyes had dark underlines showing his lack of sleep. His skin was paler than normal and his eyes no longer held the brightness he always had. The pink locks atop his head where messy with parts sticking straight up. His crown was crooked atop his head. I huffed and took his crown off gently placing it on the table. I started combing my fingers through his hair attempting to straighten the pink locks. Once I was contempt with my work I started fixing his coat and shirt.

"Gumball I'm the one who's suppose to have pale skin and dark under eyes. Not your pink face." I teased looking up at him placing my hands in front of myself. His eyes seemed blank as he looked back.

"Come on." I took his crown placing it atop his head once more pushing to make it even. " Let's go out. You need to see the sun again." I reached for his hand in hopes to pull him from the dark laboratory. He pulled his hand away from me causing me to look up to his eyes.

"No. I have to finish my project." His voice was harsh and untouched as if he hadn't spoken in years. I stopped his attempt to turn around.

"Gumball you kingdom needs you. Meaning you must leave this dark area." Gumball suddenly seemed pained by my comment and stopped moving looking away. I tilted my head to meet his gaze only for him to move away from me. I took his cheeks in my hands gently forcing him to look at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking down at him. Gumball's eyes started to tear up as he slowly leaned into my chest. I wrapped my arms around him hugging his shaking body. Tears fell from his eyes as staining my shirt. I gently soothed his shaking form with small circular motions with my hand. Once he had calmed enough to speak I asked him again.

" What is it that pains you?" I asked softly. He looked up gently sniffling. I looked at him tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. He looked at me and sighed.

"My kingdom. They don't need me. They never complain and there's hardly any issues with other kingdoms. Even Ice Queen stopped her attempts of hurting me. I just feel.... Unwanted. Unneeded." I gently ran my thumb over his cheek catching a tear from his eyes.

"That is where you are wrong my dear. You are needed. Your kingdom is so calm because you are ruling it so wondrously. Ice Queen is fearful of me so It doesn't surprise me she ran off since we've met. And Dearest I need you." I leaned closer pressing a kiss to his head.

"You bring me happiness and comfort. You've shown me what it's like to smile again instead of frown. I no longer shed tears because of you. You've made me whole again." Gumball looked into my eyes as I spoke to him. My voice was calm and smooth like velvet. It was motherly voice that was a second nature to me. Gumball gently leaned up and brushed his lips to mine. I softly closed our gap and kissed him deeply. He reached out shakily and placed them on my neck and shoulder. I pulled back and rested my forehead to his.

"I need you.....Because I love you."
