What Life Hits Us With

Y/n's POV

Last night was one of the best nights I have ever had, really! The making of the video was so fun, so much ingredients were used as ammo after the video was made. Something then caught my eye, turning my whole body towards and I was completely shocked. Why did Peej have a picture of the people from my dream?

"Hey little one what are you looking at something interesting?" he asked, making me feel uneasy on how I should response.

"just um these people seem like your parents" I said mentally sighing.

"Yeah my parents so great, hard for us to get over a terrible tragedy" His tone sounded so hurt was he my older brother?

"what happened? If you don't mind me prying"

"Just a horrible thing happened they never exactly told me what it was even though I am older now, but they would rather keep it in the past"

Was I the horrible tragedy? No they couldn't but they look so familiar. My mind is playing tricks.

"Anyways all this sad talk is making me thirsty and choked up want anything to drink as well?"

"Yeah water please Peej" he smiled turning back putting a thumbs up in my direction, walking out of the room.

PJ's POV

I walked out of the room calling them "You're right Logan it is her thank-"

"What do you plan on doing with her PJ?" interrupting me docking his pay a little.

"Why do you care she's my family not yours Logan unless you fell for her?" I tease but I know he couldn't he was a tracker a body guard. I planned on stealing y/n for a long time ever since I found out she was here in my city.

"Just wondering and hoping you take her to your parents she always believed that she would her home finally"

"we will give her a home and make her happier than Dan and Phil ever could" I replied making Logan silent on the other end. I was happy to just have her back, those wretched people that took her away making our parents wallow in guilt. When it clearly wasn't their fault.

"You... you knew?!" I hear a broken y/n, oh shit.

Y/n's POV

My heart was relieved and happy but that's the thing I overall was so excited that my real parents that I knew were alive and are actually. It was cruel of PJ keeping it from me and what he said about Dan and Phil. That wasn't right. Nothing about what he did was right. Without even blinking or thinking, I make way for the exit, slamming the door on the way out.

~Time Skips~

Running for miles I finally am at Dan and Phil's apartment. Relieved, I make my way up the steps only hearing a car screech up right behind me I start running up the steps.

"Y/n!! Wait Let me Explain!" Pj exclaimed after me but I continued to run like my life depended on it. Finally making it to our complex I smile panting, banging on the door with my left hand.

"Coming!' I heard dan say making me anxious because I heard pj's foot steps getting closer. Dan opens the door and I run into his arms kicking the door with all my might to make sure there was not a crack.

"Hey there Love what's the rush?"

"PJ" wheez "is" wheez "my" I couldn't make the other word without Dan noticing and walking me over the kitchen grabbing me a glass of water. I hear the door bell, making me grab dan by the arm. "Y/n what's going on?" I drink my water looking him straight in the eye. "he's my brother"

"don't joke around y/n come on let me let him in"

"no he's going to take me away from you Dan he said you and phil would never make me happy but in reality you're my family my home Dan just please trust and take my word for it" he looked at me shocked and disbelieving on what I was saying but he knew I was telling the truth.

"Okay I won-"

I heard a heard knock

"fucking let me in Dan! Just need to chat with Y/n" he bitterly replied behind the door.

"I think not PJ what you said about me being better than me and phil at taking care of her is complete bull shit!" He blurted out making me smile in return.

"This is not the last of me.." with that I heard foot steps fading away, making me sigh in relief.

"No one is ever going to be a better than us for you we love you too Y/n without you this House wouldn't be complete"he thoughtful replied making my eyes burn from how much I wanted to cry but I couldn't hold them back, I hugged Dan crying and smiling as he hugged me back and I hear other foot steps coming down from the stairs. "Hey I want to give some love to my smol bean" Phil happily said, making us shuffle over to him. This hug made me realize that I didn't need to have just my real parents, they made me realize my family doesn't have to be blood related but soon realizing that they were my Home.
