Lindsay had to put a hand over her mouth to stop herself from screaming. Every inch of the room could be seen, it was the first room they had found in this place that was lit. The flickering candlelight made the bizarre chamber of horrors look even more horrifying thanks to the flicking shadows, moving along the walls like the souls of the damned.

The two had come to get their freak on and eventually find a generator, but both of those goals had immediately fled their minds the moment they saw the contents of the room.

The room was a shrine to the macabre itself. The floor was filthy, it looked as though it had never been cleaned. It was stained with blood and god knows what else. Small bones and bone fragments littered the floor, along with hair, feathers, and presumably, skin. Handprints and crude what could only be described as cave drawings covered the walls, presumably done in blood.

A crude bench was made from human bones and human flesh. A heavily bruised and cut torso was on the bench. It was the torso of a woman, no clothes to hide its breasts. The rest of the body had been lopped off at the waist. It had both arms intact, but no head, instead it was replaced with a pig skull.

Rob couldn't stop himself from vomiting at the sight of it, followed by Lindsay shortly after. Lindsay only saw it emerge before it was too late. A beast with the body of a man and the head of a pig. She only had a second to scream before the pigman was upon her and Rob. It extended its arms and banged their heads together. Lindsay lost consciousness upon impact. Rob was sent reeling back from the beast. He picked a bone up off the ground he had almost tripped on in an attempt to defend himself, but it was too late, the Pigman's massive hands were wrapped around his throat, practically wringing the oxygen out of his body. His grip continued to tighten, Rob fought in vain. The last thing he heard was the sound of his own neck breaking before everything turned to black

Above, Emma and Daniel cheered as the lights flickered on. " Guess Rob found the generator after all, " Daniel exclaimed.

The two had found what seemed to be an office upstairs. " Looks like the boss just went to lunch and never came back, " Emma noted, examining the desk. The desk was a cluttered disarray, littered with papers yellowed with age. "Whoever this guy was, he was busy and disorganized, " she added, skimming some of the stuff on the desk. There was one thing on the desk that was even halfway organized, a letter. There were plenty of letters on the desk, but this one just read differently than the others. It was personal.

" Hey Danny, listen to this, " Emma said quietly, getting the attention of her brother, who had been rummaging through a filing cabinet. Emma turned her attention back to the letter and read it aloud:

" Dear Daisy,

Aaron's made himself at home in the slaughterhouse. You were right, he's happier here than he was back at the house. He doesn't need none of those fancy tools either, just some knives and a sledge, and he still gets over 100 heads a day. I told you killing comes natural to that boy. He's our golden ticket to the good life, you just keep your old man off our tail so he don't have to,

Love,

Wayne "

" Lovebirds, " she snickers, putting the letter back on the desk. She moved to the bottom drawer of the desk, but it was locked up tight. " Danny, get over here and help me, " Emma said, gesturing for him to come over. The lock was pretty old and rusted, it took only a few solid tugs from Daniel to bust the drawer open. The payoff was, to say the least, disappointing. The contents of the drawer were simply a revolver and a half-empty bottle of whiskey. Daniel reached in and grabbed the gun. All six bullets were present and accounted for, the gun actually seemed to be in pretty good condition.

There wasn't much else to the office, in fact, it was rather boring. The two stood outside the office, overlooking the ruined kill floor below them. It was amazingly peaceful for being such a scary place, the echoing sound of the rainwater hitting the flooded floor beneath them dulled their nerves.

A yelling man coming from the hallway behind them instantly snapped them out of that lul. Daniel spun around and leveled the gun at the light. If he had added maybe an eighteenth of an ounce of pressure, the person holding the flashlight up at them would be dead.

As it turned out, it wasn't one man, but three. It wasn't even the one holding the light that spoke, but the man next to him.

" huh? " Emma asked. It seemed neither of the two had heard what the man shouted.

" He said who the fuck are you? " replied the man holding the light, clearly agitated after having a gun thrust in his face.
