A New Lodge

Chapter 2

Arianna's POV
I never knew my life would just change in a snap. I mean I knew I didn't look much like my foster parents but actually knowing the thats that I'm adopted is insane. Adding to that craziness is that fact that I'm actually the daughter of the owner of Lodge Industries and the richest couple in Riverdale. Changing my name from Arianna Maren to Arianna Lodge made it worse. All I knew that this wasn't going to be easy. Having parents who are the most suspicious people in Riverdale and being the sister of a girl, who I could see from my first impression, was not someone easy to handle.

But the main question is why did they take me back. They left me for 17 years and all of sudden as soon as I show my face they take me back in a second, and the worst part being that I have no say in all of this. My life had been turned from a normal everyday girl's life, a happy one, to an unfamiliar one which I didn't even know where to start from. This wasn't going to be easy.

Veronica's POV
I rushed out the Pembrook not knowing where to go, but I just had to get out of there. How could this be happening. I was Veronica Lodge, the only daughter of the Lodge's, and then all of a sudden my parents drop this bomb on me that I have a sister. Honestly, I couldn't blame Arianna for this. She must have been just as confused as me, knowing that you're actually adopted and now all of a sudden your birth parents take you back and you know nothing about them or their daughter. It was harder on her than it was on me, but it still wasn't easy. But why hadn't mom and dad told me before. I couldn't blame daddy since I had to go a long way to find out a lot of his secrets, but mom could have told me.

Lost in my thoughts I hadn't paid attention to notice a truck coming at full speed while I was crossing the road. Suddenly when it's headlights flickered at me, did I realized the situation, but I froze, unable to do anything. Fortunately, the driver was able to stop the car in time. I was getting ready to pick a fight with the driver to tell him to slow down at least, but as he came out I noticed the all too familiar figure of Archie Andrews, my boyfriend and the love of my life. I looked into his soft brown eyes as they were filled with worry.

" Ronnie, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

I didn't know what to say. I wasn't okay and I definitely needed someone to talk to. Without saying a word I quickly hugged him and started to cry. I don't why I cried but I just did.

Ok so we're done with chapter two. I really hope you like it. I know it seems like much isn't happening right now but I'm just trying to introduce everyone and get a flow. Don't worry exciting things will be happening real soon. I'm not following the actual Riverdale storyline but I will be picking up events from season two and changing them around a bit.
