PLOT
Bunny Blanchard is a freckled face girl who seems impossibly innocent and naive to everyone she knows. They don't know that Bunny suffered a horrific incident when her mother was murdered right before her eyes when she was only ten. All people see now is the funny, sweet and quirky girl she has  become. Just like any other student Bunny goes to class, watches Quidditch games, drools over Harold Diggory, the Quidditch star. And, just like any other student, she is terrified of her classmate, Alastair Moody.

Alastair Moody scares everyone. He's grim, sardonic and has a very dark sense of humor. He seems to think the world is waiting to kill them all - and he seems to think it's rather funny.

When Alastair and Bunny become the only witnesses to a very horrific event that occurs at Hogwarts, they are bonded. And when no one believes their story, they are the only ones they have to rely on. Alastair can't believe he's stuck trying to figure out a mystery with a girls who's name is "effing Bunny." And Bunny is terrified that she has to trust someone like Alastair who is unpredictable. Horrific things bring horrified victims together — no matter how different they think they are.

I'm not exactly sure what the "horrific event" is. Originally I had planned on them both being prefects and they become the only witnesses to a students being ripped apart by a monster (kinda in Stranger Things style) and no one believes them, they just think Moody is influencing Bunny into believing one of his crazy theories. Maybe Alastor sees it first, and then Bunny sees it and he is the only one who believes her. Which ever route you want to take.

Like most of my plots the story is pretty relationship based, but I had plans on developing this into a sort of mystery where Bunny and Alastair have to join together to solve it, and through solving the mystery they begin developing feelings for each other and such. I think it would be really interesting if at some point that get into a fight about Bunny being "naive and innocent". Bunny tells Alastair she witnessed her mother ripped to pieces when she was only nine.

I also imagine Bunny to have a different love interest at the start of the story. Someone much less severe than Alastair. He's touchy and flirty and flattering and loves to cuddle. He is their for Bunny when she goes through whatever traumatizing thing that happens, but he doesn't believe her. This character is completely optional I just think he'd add an interesting dynamic to the story.
