I woke up to a text from Marina.

Marina: hey
Camille: tf u want, its 8am, u know im sleepin
Marina: yea sure, anyway remember about that concert u were so excited about
Camille: ye
Marina: well guess wut
Marina: I GOT THE TICKETS
Camille: HOLY-
Marina: come to my house rn dude

I put on the first thing I found in my closet and put on some comfy, brown Ugg Boots.

I completely forgot about my sharpie marked face and the big eyelashes made with my sister's sloppy writing. I was such in a rush to get to Marina's house, I didn't care, I just forgot.

I raced outside of my room and knocked desperately on my parents' room. I knew it was 8am and they were asleep, but I didn't care.

Dad opened the door. His hair was messy, bags were under his eyes. He had his favorite yellow and blue star pajamas, and he had an empty cup of coffee in his hand.

"Camille, why are you up so early?" He complained, yawning. "And what is on your face?"

I ignored him. "Sorry, dad. But I really, really need you to drive me to Marina's."

He glared at me, then rolled his eyes. He went back to his room and shut the door. I sighed. "Damn it."

I was about to walk back to my room when dad opened the door to his room. He had some pants and a red shirt that said "Christmas Time!". Even though it's halfway through April, he loves that shirt, and wears it everywhere.

"C'mon, get in the car."

I smiled, and jumped from excitement. I grabbed my phone and ran to open the garage door, then got in the car,

Camille: hey im on ma way
Marina: mk hurry

I arrived at Marina's house and kissed Dad goodbye.

"I'll text you when I'm ready to go!" I shouted from the door.

He nodded, and drove away.

Marina opened the door and greeted me.

"Hey Cam!- Oh my god..."

She stopped in midway greet.

"What? What is it?" I blurted. I desperately put my hands in my face.

"Oh, no, no, no, no!" I screamed, holding back tears. "What the hell am I going to do? This concert starts in 15 minutes, and I have Samantha's sloppy writing with SHARPIE all in my face."

I stepped in Marina's house and we quickly ran to Marina's room. She took out her phone from her pant pocket and googled "How to remove Sharpie Stains from skin".

"Okay, so- uh, we need uh, nail polish remover." She stated, as she paced around worried in her fluffy baby blue carpet.

"Nail Polish Remover? Where will we get that?! Its 11 PM, stores are closed, and you NEVER paint your nails, it's no doubt you don't have nail poilsh remover." I slapped myself.

"Who ever said that?" She winked and opened a cabinet over her bed. She got a bottle of nail polish remover, it was all the way in the back, bandaids and pills in the front.

"It has a little bit." She stated, as she shaked the bottle, showing the drops left in the old translucent bottle.

She got a cotton swab and applied some of the miraculous liquid in it. I got a mirror and rubbed the soft cotton in my rubbish face.

"If it wasn't for Samantha, we would be in the concert right now. We're going late." I whined, pouting and stomping my feet.

"Well, In the bright side, it's coming off well." She tilted her head and shot me a smile. "Okay, look here Camila Cabello. get that packet of cotton swabs and that decade- old nail polish remover, you'll apply it on our way to dreams."

I smiled. "You know me so well." I threw the bottle and packet in my leather bag, and we got in Marina's car.
