Reaper { Death The Kids Son }

Ch. 1

It's not symmetrical. I can't live like this. "Get me out of this place!" I say to Mai, my weapon. "Reaper, calm down. We are just here to grab something quickly for your father. Now come on.." She says, taking my hand and leading me to another room in this ugly church. "I can't believe he would send me here knowing I'm just like him." I mutter under my breath as Mai grabs a key from a desk. 'All right lets go." She says and I immediately start walking out. Thank goodness.

We got back to the academy and go to give my father the key. "Thank you son, I've been waiting to open this door since the day I forgot the key at the horrid church." He says as he walks to a door at the end of the hall. He opens it and there's a room full of clouds and a big mirror. "Whoa.." Mai says looking around the room. "I see you finally found the key." I hear someone say as they enter the room. I turn to see Soul, my fathers friend. "Death the kid long time no see." Soul says to my father who doesn't even turn to look at Soul. "Soul..nice to see you." He says as Soul crosses his arms over his chest. "How could you say that when you're not even looking at me?" Soul says making my father turn slowly. "Um we're gonna go..we have class." Mai says grabbing my shoulder and shoving me out the door. "That was..something." She says as we head down the hall to class. I open the classroom door for Mai as I just listen to her talk. We take our seats in the classroom that looks like a lecture hall and the teacher just continues to talk. Someone taps my shoulder and I turn to see Yukio. "Hey while you two were gone the teacher assigned us all together for a mission later. He said we have to go Paris, there is a man there who's killing humans for their souls." He explains to me. I nod once then turn to Mai. "Kill me now."

Once we are in Pairs we head to our rooms then head out to the dark streets to look for this man. "Should we split up?" Asami, Yukio's meister asks. "You remember last time we split up? You and Yukio almost were killed." Mai reminds them. I end up walking off from them as Mai and Asami begin bickering. I quickly start running into an ally when I hear a cry for help. I see a man with a knife against a woman's neck. "Hey! Leave her alone!" I shout, getting his attention. He lets go of the woman and she runs off. He runs after me and tries to stab me but I simply just move back. "Reaper!" I hear Mai shout from behind me. "Enchanted dagger mode Mai." I command and she disappears then there's daggers in between my fingers. I throw the dagger at him and it goes into his chest. He groans and Asami shows up with Yukio. "Yukio, sword mode!" She says and Yukio turns into a sword. Asami starts running to the man but the man dodges her and she trips and falls hard to the ground making Yukio go flying into the wall. Clink. "Yuk-" I was cut across the cheek by the mans knife and I block his next attack. I trip him and stab him in the head with all six of my daggers in between my fingers once he falls to the floor. His soul rises out of his body as he disappears and Mai turns back into herself. "Reaper are you okay?" Mai asks as she looks at my cut. "I'm fine now eat the soul." I say when Asami and Yukio come over. "You okay?" I asked Asami. "Yeah, I can't believe I'm so clumsy." She says looking down. "Yeah I know." I say making her hit me.

We got back to rooms in the motel and I start cleaning my cut. There is knock at my door but I don't answer. I guess they decided to come in as they open the bathroom door. It was Yukio. "I wanted to make sure you were okay." He says quietly as he sits on the sink. "I'm fine." I answer him as I finish up cleaning the cut. "Y-You have blood in your hair.." He points out. I look at my white hair and see some of the mans blood in my hair. "I'm aware." He starts throwing the bloody tissues away from my cut and heads to the door. "Goodnight, Yukio." I say before he leaves making him stop and turn. "Goodnight Reaper."

"REAPER~!" I felt a sharp sting on my head after I fall out of bed from someone screaming my name. "What could you possibly have to tell me that you had to scream my name." I growl at Asami. She gulps and backs up. "I-I just wanted to tell you that your father gave us an extra day to have f-fun.." She informs me as I just simply blink. "Okay."
