"...Why am I being forced to do this?"

"It's just a formality. We just need to have you record your thoughts on today's...event"

"Hmh. Fine. Brian and I arrived at the subject's house at precisely 0100 hours, as directed by you and the boss. We were able to quietly infiltrate the kitchen window without so much as a creak in the floorboards. When we approached the subject's bedroom, Brian slipped inside, locking the door behind him, leaving me outside to act as watch. A few seconds later, footsteps were heard coming from behind a door down the hall. I gave a single quiet tap to the door and jumped in the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. I hid inside of the shower. A few moments later a door opened in the hall and light footsteps were heard coming towards my position and entering the bathroom. The light was turned on and I heard the sink turn on. I quietly held my breath, trying to avoid a physical confrontation. However..."

"..."

"There had been a rubber duck left in the bottom of the tub. The duck had a squeaker. I hadn't been watching my feet in the shower..."

"What happened next?"

"The sink suddenly stopped running. I could hear the kid's heartbeat in my ears. He was scared. That's when he quietly called out for his parents. I didn't want to but... I rushed the kid. He let out a scream. I plunged my knife into his body over and over until his death twitches stopped. His parents... they both ran into the bathroom. Before they could make a sound, I stabbed them both in the neck, severing their carotid arteries. After I finished, Brian came out of the subject's room with her on his shoulders. He shook his head at the mess I'd made and we quickly left the scene, torching the house behind us. That's all."

"Hm. Why didn't you use your ESP on the kid. You could have sent him to bed, without a single drop of blood shed. I know very well you prefer to handle things that way. Why did you choose to attack?"

"... I wasn't feeling right. I felt kind of drained."

"..."

"..."

"Fine. Tomorrow go see Specs for a physical evaluation. He'll prescribe you something to fix it. Get some rest for now... Tommy."
