Ballet Diaries

    Today was the winter dance. I was overjoyed when I heard Adrien was coming. So, I put on my most dazzling dress, my neatest hairstyle, fanciest shoes, and my most gorgeous jewelry. Lizzie also helped me get dressed so credit goes to her too. The only con was it was raining for long periods of time, so dancing outside was not an option. It wouldn't really matter since Chloe would hog Adrien anyway. Adding a few details, I asked Lizzie how I looked. After examining our dresses,she quickly said no which shocked me very much. I swear I saw a light bulb on top of her head flashing to signal she had an idea. I repeated no in a questioning manner. Lizzie then jumped off my chaise and said that everyone would be wearing their fanciest stuff so, we would do the opposite and dress a little plainer. It took me awhile to process so Lizzie explained that we'd stand out which means everyone would notice us. Then she came in closer and whispered (Including Adrien!!) and poked me in the arm with her elbow twice. I yelled at her playfully and pushed her onto my chaise and blushed. We both started laughing when she pulled me onto the chaise also. We sat up trying to fight our giggles when I sat on the chair next to my sewing machine. After a few conversation we decided we would customize a pair of dresses that I had sewn myself. It took be about two hours to sew them since I spent about half an hour scampering around looking for the same fabric and then realizing it was under me feet. I asked Lizzie if it fit and she nodded and walked over to me. Suddenly I feel my hair go loose and she then tied a bow in my hair, gave me a pair of black ballet flats, and tied a black scarf around my neck and the rest I finished. She put on: a dress like mine but pink and a pink dress with a black silk choker with pink diamonds. We grabbed umbrellas and headed outside where her older brother was waiting for us. As soon as we got there we quickly ran into the gym. We had to take a picture since it was a safety precaution for every student to have a picture showing identification. Right after I was asked the most amazing question ever, Adrien asked me to dance, and of course I said yes and then he dragged me to the dance floor (in a nice way) I can't explain how happy I was or can I? I was probably fangirl screaming inside. This was my first dance ever so I wanted to enjoy every minute of it. As usual though Chloe came and ruined everything. How did she ruin everything? SHE PUSHED ME INRTO THE PUNCH BOWL HARD ENOUGH THAT EVERYTHING FELL ON ME AND MADE SURE THAT EVERYONE SAW ME AND STARTED LAUGHING MY HAIR SOGGY, STICKY, AND SMELLY. I even saw Adrien laughing I also saw Chloe holding my umbrella which had a giant hole in it. Chloe laughed at my expression and told me I might need it so she threw it at me as I was trying to get up. Adrien came to me reaching out his hand to help but I declined him knowing or thinking he laughed at me hurt. It hurt a lot, it hurt too much. On my way to the bathroom I heard Adrien calling after me so I started running to avoid him. Once I lost him I ran to the playground and sat on the swing. A few moments later Adrien appeared and sat on the swing next to me. He asked me what happened and I was quiet then I asked him why he wasn't with Chloe. He chuckled softly at my remark then asked me in a slight serious tone what happened. I didn't respond, my eyes started burning and I didn't answer until he asked me again. I told him what upset me and my voice cracked sometimes. I turned away hiding my tears when he lifted my chin and turned it to so I could face him. He then hugged me and opened an umbrella, his umbrella and offered his hand. I gladly excepted when he suddenly pulled me towards himself and put his arm around my waist while his other arm held the umbrella. We stared into each other's eyes until we heard the thunder roll. Once we got to the gym Lizzie surrounded us with questions until Adrien asked to be alone. Adrien then explained that he was laughing at his best friend Josh because he dropped a bunch of punch cups trying to impress some girls and friends. We both laughed for a while and had a great time. I ended up doing a duet with Adrien and we won the titles prince and princess of the dance and Chloe became queen. On my way to the car the rain started pouring hard when Adrien comes by and gives me his umbrella. We shared goodbyes and left home.
