The Day You Met Hagita

The Sun was shining as the cherry blossoms danced with the wind. The weather was nice so you thought you would enjoy lunch period outside. There was a shady spot under a tree so you set your blanket down to sit and started eating your lunch. Across the field feom where you were sitting, you spotted a group of friends chatting and having a great time on this warm day. The wind played with your hair as you admired them from afar, wishing you were having as much fun as they were.

You were lost in thought when you felt a hefty judge, causing you to almost lose your balance. A voice stuttered in a nervous tone behind you, "Oh, e-excuse me! I-I wasn't watching where i was going." You turned to see a fellow student from your school waving his hands in the air violently. He had short, dirty blonde hair and wore glasses that he liked to straighten a lot. You shook your head with a bright smile, "It's no problem." His face grew a few shades of red as he stood there awkwardly, "Um, are you alright?" You gave him a curious look, wondering if he had heard you, "Hagita." He stood up straight as he introduced himself, daring not to look at you, "My name is Hagita! Nice to meet you!"

You nodded, giggling at him sweetly aa you replied, "Nice to meet you, Hagita. I'm (Y/N)." He got on one knee taking your hands into his as he drew close to you, "Would you like to join my friends and i for lunch, (Y/N)?" Your face began to feel hot as he looked into your eyes, awaiting your response, "Mmhmm. Sure." He introduced you to his friends and they welcomed you with open arms. You spent the rest of lunch period and all afternoon after school together, laughing and enjoying the great weather until the Sun started to set, painting everything surrounding you orange. "Well, I guess this is where we part ways." You waved goodbye to everyone as you started on your departure home, "I-I'll walk you home..." You turned to him surprised that he offered, "Thank you, Hagita."

The sunlight guided you home with Hagita walking closely beside you, "I really enjoyed today, thank you for inviting me. He brushed it off casually, "Oh, it was the least I could do. Sorry for bumping in to you earlier." You shook your head giggling, "No it's fine, really. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten to meet you and your friends. In a lot of ways, I'm glad that you bumped into me today." Your face began to feel hot as you confessed this to Hagita, "Well do you mind if I bump into you again tomorrow?" Your gaze met his as you both stood in the sunset. With a light shade of pink on your cheeks you nodded excitedly in response.The two of you laughed enjoying your time together as you made your way home.
