I waited, seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, hours turned to days, days turned to weeks, and weeks to months. I waited, for a long time I waited, but no answer came back to me, later that day.I went to the bar downtown, to drink until I could forget, even though it had been months, I couldn't forget, in that same bar there was a lonely girl, she was white, snow white skin with Rosie cheeks, piercing blue eyes and red hair, she is kind of cute I just walked in and set at the bar, I order a drink and waited, am not sure what I was waiting for but I just did, then, that girl came and sat at the bar, next to me, she ordered a vodka soda and waited, she seemed kind of down, guess we felt the same. Minutes passed and finally she said something, Hey,  I turned and said hey back, she asked me what my name was, I told her my name is Melissa, she said hers was Payton, we just talked for minutes, she was really interesting, and finally I asked why she was alone in the bar drinking, she told that her girlfriend broke up with her, with that answer I knew two things about her, she is into girls and she gay, practically the same thing, then she asked me the same question, I told her I was drinking alone because my fiancé dumped me and probably left the country, she said well, you win I didn't win anything I said, you are right she said, After that we just talked, we talked, we talked until dawn. We both became really tired so we exchanged numbers, we promised we would call each other when we had a chance, I got up and left, I had to feed so again I went to the woods behind my house, I was really getting used to hunting, I would eat squirrels, rabbits, and sometimes if am lucky a deer. It was the same routine every single day, with the addition of waiting for a call that might never happen, but still I had hope. One day, she finally called, she said if I wanted to go to the movies with her, happily I said yes, she picked me up in this beautiful black mustang, I got inside the car and she said you look pretty blood ran through my cheeks making me blush, she turned the music volume up and stepped on the gas, I knew, I knew now that she is the kind of crazy girl, I liked it though, I like the craziness. We arrived to the theater, she bought the tickets to a movie called Love And Death In London it sounded very cheesy for a girl like her, either way I just ignored it, no big deal, we went to the line to get some popcorn and soda, she asked me what are my favorite type of popcorn, I told her I like caramel popcorn, she smiled and said its her favorite as well, well that might be one sign.
