Marrying an Angel (Cas x reader)

Idea: you're the youngest winchester, You're marrying Cas and this is the big day.

"You look amazing (y/n)" Charlie beams, placing your bouquet in your hands.

You smile, looking at yourself in the mirror continuing to mess with your hair "I can't believe it's actually happening," you say softly.

"Well believe it, because it's almost time." She replies happily, "c'mon, Bobby's supposed to meet you in a couple of minutes." She continues smoothing out the lace on your shoulders.

You laugh, following your best friend down the hall in front of the closed sanctuary doors. There is a small group waiting at the doors as you walk up consisting of Sam, Dean, Jodi and Bobby. Laugh to yourself, noting how strange Bobby looks in a suit with his hair fixed. They all turn as you walk up to them, Sam comes up giving you a bear hug.

"You look beautiful (y/n)" he smiles, stepping back to admire your dress. You laugh, noticing the tears in his eyes "I-uh, thanks Sammy. You guys don't look too bad yourselves," you nod to your brothers laughing gently.

Dean walks up to you, hugging you "proud of you squirt," he whispers. You smile, tearing up "I wish mom could be here," you whisper so only he can hear. He nods, "yeah, me too" he responds softly kissing your temple.

You smile at him as the hug ends, noticing his tie is backwards. "Not you too," you laugh stepping forward again to fix it. He just laughs softly, watching you.

You smooth his tie and walk to Bobby, whose face is slightly red and puffy but beaming with pride.
"Were you crying Bobby?" You smile up at him, watching him look away, wiping his eyes.

"No....Maybe," he laughs silently "you're the closest thing I have to a daughter, I'm more than honored to be able to walk you down the Isle." He looks down at you, kissing the top of your head.

"You ready to do this kid?" He smiles, extending his arm. You nod, "very." Taking his arm and lining up behind the others.

You feel butterflies in your stomach as you watch the others walk out in front of you. You look into the large room, seeing all your friends and family. Everyone is there; Kevin, Gabriel, Garth, even Rowena who convinced Crowley to come. Your eyes sweep the large room quickly as you do a double at the officiant.

Wait is that?-That's Chuck. Cas actually got his dad to officiate the wedding. You think to yourself, stifling a laugh.

The music Changes and you feel yourself start to move alongside Bobby. Your eyes immediately lock with Castiel's, who was already tearing up. You focus on your angel as Bobby walks you down the isle. His hair fixed and smooth combined with the white tux he'd chosen took your breath away.

You get to the steps of the stage and Bobby Passes your hand off to Cas. You smile and walk up, standing in front of him, feeling him take both of your hands gently in his.

"You look amazing Love" the angel whispers, smiling to you brightly.

"You don't look too bad yourself," you laugh silently.

You look to chuck, "congratulations," he whispers smiling proudly at the two of you.

We're gathered here today for the marriage of Castiel and (y/n) Winchester..." Chuck began.

As chuck continued with the ceremony he made the normal speech more bearable by making it his own. Somehow he made it comfortable and easy to listen to. He decides to finish the ceremony the traditional way.

You glance to chuck as he speaks to the angel in front of you.

"Do you Castiel, take (y/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or worse long as you both shall live?" Chuck smiles.

Castiel nods, looking to you "I do father," he nods gently, rubbing circles on the top of your hands with his thumb. Chuck brings his hand around, handing Cas a simple but beautiful ring.

It's a simple ring, just a small band with three tiny diamonds embedded diagonally into it. Surrounding the diamond are carved words of enochian.

You watch as Castiel placed the ring smoothly onto your finger before taking your hand again.

Do you (y/n), take Castiel to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or worse as long as you both shall live?"

You smile at chuck, nodding "definitely, I do."

He smiles and hands you a silver ring of the same size, with three diamonds vertical across the band. You smile at Cas before placing it onto his finger.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," he smiles proudly, "you may now kiss the angel." He winks at you. You laugh before pulling Cas in for a passionate yet gentle kiss. In the background you hear clapping and a whistle that could only be Gabriel's.

After all the two of you have been through together, you knew in this moment that everything would be okay as long as you had each other.
