Use of Commands

Chapter One

Jesse drank the potion of leaping she got from the witch's hut, stepped back a bit, and ran forward.  She didn't realize Rueben was right behind her though.  She leapt through the gapping hole of the Wither Storm, and rolled when she felt something beneath her.

Jesse turned back and saw Rueben.

"Rueben what are you doing here?! You could get hurt!" she cried to the pig.  Which just oinked back.

"Alright, I feel little better not being alone up here though.."

She and the pig kept walking, walking past the darkened faces of people from her town, and from the other towns she went to.  It had seemed the Wither Storm was following her personally, which it was, due to Ivor.

Suddenly, the floor shifted onto its side, letting Jesse and Rueben fall.  The two still persisted on, still moving slowly and carefully.

When they reached the main room, they saw the command block, unscathed, and guarded by several black tentacles.  They weren't doing much, just moving around slightly, but Jesse had a feeling that if approached, they would start moving more.

Slowly, Jesse approached the command block, hoping that the slow movement would allow her to pass freely.  When she was in hitting distance of the command block, with Rueben very far away.  Jesse struck down her sword, and caused a crack in the command block, which was glowing.  She stepped back a bit to strike again, but then Wither Storm moved.  It sent her and Rueben to the new floor, while the command block was far away.

Everyone from outside the Wither Storm saw the sudden shift and got concerned.

"What the heck is going on up there?" Lukas yelled to Axel and Olivia.

"No clue!" Axel yelled back.

"Me either, but it had to have done that because Jesse damaged it!  It's probably protecting itself!"

'I believe in you Jesse..' Lukas thought to himself, hoping that belief can save them all.

While in the storm itself, Jesse was trying to climb up to the command block, and failing miserably.  Then a head of the Wither Storm popped into the room.

Jesse's emerald green eyes widen in fear.  The purple glass eye of the storm produced a tracker beam, and was looking for Jesse.  She quickly ducted behind something so she would get caught.  But then she got an idea, and went back out in the open.

"Hey you!  Over here!" Jesse yelled at the head. The head looked over at her, and the glance was carrying the tracker beam.  She rose up, and Rueben squealed in fright.

"Don't worry buddy! I'll be fine!" Jesse said Rueben to calm him down.

When Jesse was close enough to the head, she pierced through the purple, glass-like eye, and bounced off its head to the tentacles.  She grabbed ahold of one, and it started swinging rapidly, but Jesse's grip was strong.  While it was swinging, Jesse swung at the command block, and it cracked more.

"Aha!  Should be one more hit and it's done for.." Jesse was interrupted by a sudden pain in her stomach.  Extruding from her gut was one of the black tentacles, which was keeping her up in the sky.  Rueben's eyes widen, and he cried at Jesse, hoping she would respond.

"I'm.. I'm fine buddy!  Just one more hit.. and.." Jesse sputtered.  She was trapped, and she couldn't get close enough to the command block to destroy it.  Last moment thinking led her to throwing the sword, which hit it, and cracked to millions of pieces.

Due to the injury, the tentacle let go of Jesse, and left an empty pit in her body.  She fell down, and kept falling.  In her haziness, she saw a pink chunk fall to her, and right in between her stomach.  In a blink of an eye, white flashes of light exploded from her abdomen, and Jesse lost consciousness..

*Hiya! I hope you like the first chapter of this fanfiction!  I've had this idea ever since I read "A Second Chance" and it was if Rueben had landed in the water, and if Jesse died on the land.  It's really interesting, and I felt that the author should've went more detail of the command block (you'd get it if you read it) and I decided to write one similar to it, but with my own twists and such!
