John felt as if he had been on a drinking spree. He felt so dizzy and so tired. John groaned. This alerted Rose who produded to run over ,stare at John.
"H-hello" he croaked.
He was not expecting a warm reply and his prediction came true. As she yelled at him for not telling the police about his condition. Matt smirked as he sipped a foreign liquid that was once coffee. John proceced to lift his hand and swear using his middle finger. Matt smirked more at this. Rose finally finished talking.
"So care to explain why you didn't inform the police?" She stated curling her bottom limp.
Snap. Sticks. John almost stood straight up but Matt held him down almost forcing him to rest.
"Woah. Calm down , you need to rest."Matt ordered.
"Sticks." John murmed. Rose and Matt looked for an answer in each other bit was greeted with confusion.
"Sticks?" Rose questioned.
"Snapping" John replied as if it was a simple question.
Matt's ears pricked up. His eyes grew wide but his iris slid thinner.
"John what do you-"
She was cut off by Matt who held his hand to form a silence. Matt leaned towards the front door. He finally heard it. Snap. He frowned and locked the door. He slid the rusty chain up and into place. He glaced through the fish bowl like lense and saw nothing.
This only furthered his frown.
"We need to leave"he whispered.
John stood up clumsily and grabbed a simple backpack. He grapped his coat and slid it on. Snap! John shook as he realised why Matt was so upset. The snapping was coming from the bathroom. John lived on the bottom floor near the trees outside. Snap! This one wasn't a twig being seprated it was a snap of a window lock. Matt already undid his work and the door hung open. Rose picked up one thing, that was the biggest mistake in her life. It was John's pill bottle which made a very gentle shake. The bathroom door exploded as debris flew every which way. It was horrifing.
