ASOBI NI IKU YO

Chapter 1: Trip to Okinawa

Once I was surfing the net I came across several interesting entries, which said that a Russian air traffic controller had located a UFO, which had tried to communicate with the base. According to him, the communication seemed to come from a female, who used what appeared to be a meowing language.

The comments on this ridiculous news were joking at best, but all the entries of this "false news" were erased from the internet, in every country of the world. Of course, no one paid attention to this, but I had a feeling, I never imagined that my life would soon change completely.

"They erased all the entries," I thought as I tried to locate some information about a supposed alien mother ship that had been seen over Okinawa, Japan.

"Even on CNN, they didn't repeat the news anymore..."

Very early in the morning this channel showed me the famous mother ship, it was only a second but it was enough for me to get up with a jump from the seat. The faces of the presenters denoted the surprise of such incredible news, now, five hours later, they continued the program as if nothing had happened.

.

.

Days went by and they didn't repeat the news, I even sent them e-mails, but I didn't get any response, the only thing I got was a powerful virus that got into my computer and left the machine broken.

"Well, I think it's time for me to go to Okinawa," I said to myself as I had already raised the money to go to Japan. My original plan as an otaku that I am was to go to Tokyo, I had to check for myself whether aliens in the shape of cat girls had arrived in Okinawa, I was told by some guys who saw some links on the internet before they had been deleted.

.

.

The first thing that impressed me when I arrived in Okinawa was the tremendous heat there, with my very limited Japanese vocabulary I asked around about the supposed extraterrestrial cat girls, however, my Japanese turned out to be too limited, in the end I was sent to the "pink zone" of the place where there were several women disguised as cats or rabbits which... Well everyone knows what they did.

I remembered that there was an American base in Okinawa and went there, as I know English, I confidently asked the base's relationship managers if they knew anything about it, however, nobody knew anything, nothing at all.

"So in the end this whole cat-girl thing from space turned out to be just a joke," I thought heartbrokenly.

"Well, I don't have enough money to go to Tokyo anymore, so I'll have to spend a few days in Okinawa," I continued with my inner regret. "I guess I'll have to collect all the mangas that people throw away after reading them so I can take them with me when I get back from Okinawa..."

.

.

After a couple of days, I thought I heard gunfire, I didn't think much of it and after a few days and thanks to my improvement with the Japanese, I learned that some tourists had been attacked on the beach by criminals who were apparently underage due to their small size and wearing dog masks.
