Jay hated her job. She knew she was going to have to throw around her weight but she didn't exactly have this in mind. The Sandworms had made huge holes. She sighed as sweat tricked from her eyebrowns down to the slope of her nose. She looked outwards to find a horrible knock of monster but instead saw a red headed man laying on the burning sand. She trecked over her naked feet burried into various sandy pits. He looked about 20 ish and had the most bright red hair Jay had ever seen. He was wearing armour which was a tertible choice for this weather.
Regardless Jay leant down to pick him up and was met by a fire. It nestled in his palm.
"G-get ," he paused to breathe "away."
"Ey, look mate I'm gonna 'arm ya." Jay spoke casually.
"I- i "he could barely form sentences.
"Mate do ya 'ave anyone round 'ere?"Jay questioned.
He put out the flame and tried to get up.He fumbled and Jay caught him.
"Look-" Jay didn't know what to do,she had never been in this situation.
"We are going to get you patched up"Jay finally blurted out.
"But-but my-the others"he was heavily breathing.
"Don't worry mate, they'll find you after all our town in only a short walk away."
They started to walk back.
