The Mysterious Cat

I woke in the middle of the day up to find a black cat sitting on my lap. The cat had beautiful green eyes and silky fur. I picked it up and walked out of my room and walked towards the kitchen. I saw Tony and Steve sitting in the living room watching TV. «Do you know where this cat came from?» I asked them. Both of them looked over at me and shook their heads. «I didn't know we had a cat» Tony said, standing up as he came over to me. He tried to pet the it but the cat hissed and tried to scratch his hand. «Jesus Y/N, control the cat» he said and backed away. I laughed and felt the cat purr against my chest. I walked around the Avengers Tower to ask if anyone knew where the cat came from but no one knew. The last person to ask was Loki. I hadn't seen him the entire day and I started to wonder where he was. I knocked on the door to his bedroom but there was no answere. «Should I just go in?» I asked the cat. It looked up at me with big, green eyes and purred. I took a chanse and opened the door. The room was empty. I had not been inside his room before and I was suprised about how organized everything was. All of his books stood in a big bookshelf. I walked toward his bed and saw a book that was open. It looked like a spellbook. I tried to read the signs but I could understand a thing. Probably a language from Asgard or something. «You know what? You kind of remind me of Loki» I said to the cat. «Both of you are very cute». I walked out of his room with the cat laying in my arms. I went into my room and set the cat down on my bed. I went into my bathroom to change clothes so that I could go to bed. I fell asleep with the cat cuddled up to my front.

I woke up with something heavy over my waist. I turned over slowly to find Loki laying asleep in my bed. The man I had a crush on was asleep in my bed. With me. I tried to shake him awake but he only pulled me closer to himself and nuzzled his face into my neck. We laid like that for a while before he woke up. «Why are you in my bed Loki?» I whispered to him. He looked around and looked back into my eyes before he answered with a simple «I was the cat». Suddenly everything made sense. He was gone the entire day, there was a black cat in my room and he reminded me of Loki. «So you think I'm cute?» Loki said with a smirk. I could feel myself blushing. «Don't worry, I think you're cute too» he said with a wink before he leaned in and our lips locked.
