Happy Birthday Ki!!

Ki was sitting at his desk looking at the book of the undead that his master gave him until Kagome came into the room..
Tanmoku Pov
"Ki, you need to take a break." I heard Kagome said as she placed her small hand against mine, I squeezed her hand gently and replied " I know, but I would like to know how to use this." She gave me a concerned look "Are you going to use that to create living corpses?" I sighed and I pulled her into my lap
"No I'm doing this so I can find a way to keep you existing in this world since our connection was broken when the necklace was destroyed...."
I heard her sigh and she lifted my head to see her beautiful violet orbs piercing into mine with determination "Look Tanmoku Ki, there is something that I'm connected to, it's you. So don't worry about me alright."
My eyes widen in shock as I heard those words and I pulled her closer to me, she is the only one I can count on.... and love. I felt her shift and get up from my lap, with a beautiful smile on her face.
"Tanmoku, close your eyes for me? I have a surprise!" I smiled gently and closed my eyes.
Kagome.... I just want you to exist even when I'm gone...
"Ok, you can open them now!" I heard her shout excitedly. I slowly opened my eyes to see a heart shaped cake with the words Happy Bday. "Happy Birthday, Ki." She said with the warmest smile.
I am shocked.... I looked at her and asked " Wait, how did you-?" " Oh, I found out just recently, but since nobody else knew. I had to make it on the sly, no one saw me though." She said with a playful smirk and she grabbed something from her pocket and placed it on the cake " Oh, yeah, here's the candle so Happy 18th birthday!" She said as she lit up the candle.
I smiled lightly, I feel so loved by Kagome...she doesn't expect anything from me.... She's always been there when I was down and lost.I love her so much...I closed my eyes and blew out the candle.
She grabbed a fingerful /spoonful of cake and put it towards my face, and I accepted by sucking on her small fingers that was covered in cake. I opened my eyes in shock and covered my mouth "Oh, God, Its too sweet... how much sugar did you put in it!?" She looked at me and put the finger that had the left over cake and tasted it. "Hmm, but I thought you liked sweets?" I groaned and said " There's a limit to everything, honey."
She smirked and grabbed another piece and playfully forced me to eat the cake and I took a step back "Oh,no. No,no. I had enough, baby." Oh, gods no don't let Kagome do the puppy eyes. She gave me the look that can kill me.... curse you kami....
"Please master ~ can u eat the rest of my cake? I will help u if u want."
Omg.... I know she means well but damn, her words can be such a turn on... I sighed and opened my mouth, waiting for her to continue feeding me the damn sweet cake. She realized and smiled happily and proceeded to feed me... if I get sick I'm blaming her....
Kagome Pov
I smirked, looks like I had my revenge for his tickling after all!! >◇<. I giggled and Ki looked at me with a raised brow. "What' s so funny?"
I smiled, trying so hard not to burst out laughing and replied sweetly "Nothing..." He just gave me one of his old blank stares then pulled me closer to his body.
We stayed in silence, watching the stars... well me anyway. Until I felt Ki get up. I looked towards him to see of what he was doing.
I saw him kneeling on 1 knee, holding a small black box. I gasped, he chuckled and gave me one of his beautiful smiles.
"Kagome, you have always been there for me. When I was lost you guided me back to the light. You never wanted or expected anything from me, you saw me as a normal person, not as a noble/hero. You gave me love when I didn't deserve it. Kagome, will you marry me and become mine for eternity?"
I don't know what to feel, I was so overwhelmed I started to cry while I latched myself onto him "Yes,if course I'll marry you!" He looked at me with happiness and relief and placed the heart shaped diamond ring on my finger then he kissed me softly "Im so glad, I love you Kagome." I smiled back at him " I love you too Ki....but I got one question though." "Hmm? What is it honey?" I laughed nervously and replied
" Uhh, what about Shin? Isn't she you're fiancee still?" He chuckled and replied " No, not anymore ever since Grandma seen us kiss like that at the ceremony a few days ago. She understood that I loved you and she called off the engagement. Besides Shin found love in Oyou."
I blinked and looked at him dumbfounded " Wait, if Shin and Oyou are together.... She should have told me...T^T" "She did, we were just to busy to notice." Now I feel terrible. I sighed and held Ki tighter. "Don't worry, She's not the type of person to get angry at you."
I looked up at him "You think so?" He smiled back at me warmly and replied "I know so, but we'll talk more about this in the morning, my love "
I squeaked when I felt him lift me up bridal style and carried me to bed. He let me down and he stripped out of his top and joined me in the bed. He pulled me closer and got comfortable, placing an arm protectively around me.
" I love you, Kag." I heard him say as he kissed my forehead. "I love you too, Ki...night...." And then I closed my eyes, anxious of what the day will bring tomorrow....

Yay!! My 1st chap of oneshot is done but I may add this chap in the original story. But you'll never know. 😅😅 Anyway, see ya in the next chap!!
