Our Happy Family

     Ki Pov
          It's been 16 years since I've been with Kagome and so much has changed since then... 
      "Papa!"I turned around to see my baby girl, Kamui smiling while holding flowers, Lilies to be exact. "Look Papa! Aren't these flowers pretty?" I smiled and ruffled her hair affectionetely "Yes Kamui, they're beautiful. Now let's find you're mother shall we?" Kamui smiled brightly and nodded as I took her small hand in mine. "Ok!"
      I smiled at her and we went on and searched for Kagome. Fortunately, she was at the kitchen preparing dinner for the family while my eldest son was on his cell phone texting his boyfriend, Kyo probably and My second son Ichigo training outside with Kamui's bodyguard, Ban on swordsmanship.
      "Hey, papa can I watch Ban and Ichigo train, please?" Kamui gave me her puppy eyes and I nodded as I chuckled at her excitement. She smiled brightly and went outside as I walked and hugged Kagome from behind.
       "Ki, I need to get this done you know how the boys get if I'm slow" I chuckled and kissed her neck gently " I know, but are you sure you don't need help? You're 3 months pregnant."
       She just puffed out cheeks before she flicked me in the forehead "Hey! Even though I've been more tired lately doesn't mean I can't support and love my family, Ki. We've been through this 3 times already."
        I grinned and pulled her more closely but more gentle because of the baby. "I know, just wanted to make sure that you 2 are ok." Kagome just giggled and turned around to kiss me on the lips before she went back to cooking again."And we're alright because we have you to protect us." I smiled once more as I gave pecked her lips one last time before sitting next to my son Yume.
      "How's ur seme, Yume?" He blushed and puffed out his  in embarrassment from my little tease. "He's doing good, still being that otaku who loves pokemon plushies." I grinned and playfully ruffled his hair. "That's great son. I'll go see how Ichigo and Kamui is doing." Yume looked at me and chuckled " Yeah, knowing those 2 they'll probably get themselves in trouble."
       I laughed, it was true, those 2 r so adventurous of the world, especially Kamui since she's 6 . I smiled sadly for a moment.... soon, my kids will be all grown up even my baby girl... But I'm at least happy to see them grow and enjoy their childhood. I sighed slightly as I went outside and into our backyard to see Kamui watching Ban and Ichigo's sparring session with enthusiasm.
     "Is this seat taken, my little dragon?" She looked at me and hugged my leg excitedly "Nope! I saved this seat for you papa!!" I grinned and sat next to her on the ground, watching as Ban and Ichigo strikes, counters, and dodges from each other's attacks.
   "They're so cool!!! I hope I get to fight like that soon!!" Kamui said with sparkles in her vale(pale purple) eyes as she marveled at the 2 boys in wonder. I smiled at her livelyness, I never was really able to experience that as a child but I'm glad my kids are able to. "Maybe soon, I'll have them train you , but only when you're ready."
   She squealed and hugged me "Thank you papa!! You won't regret it, I'll become strong just like mama so I can protect everyone I care about!!! I promise!" I chuckled and hugged her " I know you will, you're so much like your mother" Kamui smiled brightly and replied "I know, a lot of people say that I look like mama." I smiled back as we began to watch Ban's and Ichigo's spar again.
    Timeskip
       It was night now... well I should have expected Ban and Ichigo to train hours on end. I looked at my daughter, she fell asleep on my lap from the whole thing. I smiled and picked her up gently.
      "I'll take her to her room Master Tanmoku" the young boy,Ban said with determination. I smiled lightly and gave her to Ban since he was the one who always protects her from danger.
     "Alright, just come back when you're done Ban" Ban nods and started to leave, carrying Kamui. "You seem tired too dad" I turned around to My son Ichigo giving me a concerned look but I grin ed to reassure him. "Nah, I'm alright it's you who needs the rest. Anyway let's get inside before your mom starts to freak out " I teased while Ichigo just rolled his eyes and started to follow me. As we were walking I couldn't help but think....
       I'm so lucky to still be alive and be able to be a loving husband/father to my family.. to have such a caring and strong wife, to have  2 adventurous children while my eldest son was the type to study in the arts of healing, and to have another bundle of joy arriving in a few more months.
      I smiled and closed my eyes, still in thought. I'm so grateful to have this chance and have a happy life..
