It had been a few months since I moved in, and a lot had changed. Me and mia where good friends, I wasn't as shy as I was before, and I actually liked college. shocker, i know.

It was a Friday night, the night when people usually got drunk or passed out. but not for me, I was sitting in my room watching music videos. Alex was out doing who knows what, I didn't really care as long as it was safe.

a few minutes later I got a call from Alex, who said: "hey Maddy, im at a nice cafe, want to join me?". "sure" I replied, got on my bike and drove to the "cafe", which turned out to be a bar. I found Alex there, but after a while, they said they had to go home. "you coming with mads?" Alex asked. "no, im having some fun, I'll stay here" I replied. "ok, see you at home soon," Alex said, walking out.

I tried to order alcohol, but the barista could tell I was under 21. "sorry kid, no drink for you" he said. A guy sitting next to me joined in the conversation and said: "the drink was for me actually". "Oh, sorry" the barista looked sceptical, but gave the guy the drink anyway. "here's your drink," he said. "thanks, the guy said, then handed it to me. "here you go," he said. I watched him closely as he gave it to me. I didn't want to get drugged tonight.

everyone had started clearing out, so now it was just me, the guy, and the barista. I didn't feel weird when I drank it, so I assumed it was ok. we just sat and chatted for a while, about life and stuff. turns out the guy's name is Max, and he works as a barber at the shop down the block."hey,  i have to get home now, sorry" i said once I got tired."Ok, it was nice meeting you." Max replied. "so you don't fall asleep on your way home, here's a chocolate bar for a pick me up". I took it happily and started munching on it once I was outside. instantly, I knew something was wrong. I felt faint and collapsed on the floor of the parking lot. "Oh, shit" i thought. Oh shit oh shit oh shit. I was drugged.
