Violet was standing on the edge of a building, getting ready to jump. There were people looking up at her from down below. As soon as she jumped, all the people gasped.
Violet was falling and falling. Until she suddenly felt her feet on the ground. She wasn't dead like she planned.
Why the hell am I still alive? Violet thought.
"Because I saved you.." Said a deep male voice.
"Who's there?!" Violet asked.
"I'm Xavier. I'm a ghost." Xavier said appearing right before Violet's eyes.
Violet was shocked at first.
"Why did you save me?!" Violet asked, "I wanted to die!"
"I saved you because That's the same place I died. I committed suicide at that same spot. For the same reasons as you."
Violet went silent.
"I realized as I was falling that, ending it won't help anything." Xavier said.
"Well....what the hell do YOU know?!" Violet erupted.
"I know a lot because I'm dead." Xavier stated.
"Well then..."
I hope she knows I'm the one who's kept her safe all these years.. Xavier thought.
I hope he doesn't know that I think he's cute even though he's a ghost... Violet thought.
