I was always different from everyone. I wasn't a human like everyone else. I was an angel. I didn't show my wings unless I was in danger.
I was walking around the scout headquarters when I bumped into my best friend Armin. He seemed to be in a hurry.
"Sorry Armin, hey, are you okay?" I asked.
"Eren turned into a Titan inside wall Sina. Everyone is freaking out and the MP are gonna kill him!" He said quickly.
I gasped and my eyes teared up. I ran throughout the halls to my horse. I jumped on and sped off down the street. I went through wall Sina and saw Eren's Titan sitting in town square. He was tied down and Military Police were talking about taking him out.
"EREN!!!" I cried as they made their way to his nape. He made a low growling sound. I jumped and my wings grew. I flew up to the MPs and knocked them off his back. I stood on his back as my wings let off light. I heard a couple of people gasp and a lot of chatter. My wings flapped as I landed on the ground. I looked up at Eren and started to untie him.
"Back off! Eren is not a threat!!" I called out. Eren's titan fell and he emerged from the nape. I ran up to him and and hugged his unconscious body. His eyes slowly opened as he looked up at me. He gasped and put his hand to my cheek.
"Is that you y/n??" He asked.
"We're going home Eren." I said with tears coming out of my eyes. I helped him up and put his arm around my shoulder and helped him walk. We walked to my horse. He sat behind me as we rode back to headquarters. I stopped my horse and helped him off. I put my wings away and helped him to my room. I sat him on the bed and stroked his forehead.
"Y/n. Where are we." He asked
"We're back at HQ. In my room." I explained with a soft smile, trying to hide the fact I was upset.
"What's wrong y/n??" He asked, obviously seeing through my fake smile.
"I don't think people are gonna accept me for what I am." I sighed. "I may be an 'angel'. But lots of people don't really apriciate differences now do they?"
"Y/n, you're talking nonsense!" He snapped. "If people don't apriciate you than they aren't worth your time."
"But I can't talk to anyone about it because its been a secret for so long." I said as tears started running down my face. I was taken back a bit by him snapping. He noticed this and hugged me. I cried into his shirt and he held me like I was going to leave him. I snuggled into his chest and fell asleep a little while after. I slept for a while, bit woke from Eren moving from under me. He layed me down and lay next to me. I snuggled back into him and felt his arms wrap around me and he pulled me closer. I felt the warmth of his body as his chest rose and lowered. His heartbeat was like a soothing lullaby. I heard him sigh and stroke my hair.
"What am I to do??" He whispered.
"Eren?" I said quietly. "Are you alright??"
"Y-Yeah. I'm alright." He stuttered. "Are you?"
"I'm fine..." I said looking up at him. He looked down at me. The moonlight shown through my window. His eyes sparkled as he looked in mine. He then lightly kissed my forehead and whispered.
"You're my guardian angel."
