"Gemna! Memento Mori has returned and taken Aoi!" Ren exclaims as himself, Mana, Akira, Oragon, and Minami enters into the headquarters

"Yes. It has seems that Memento Mori has been revived. I've been keeping track on her and it looks like she is gaining more strength than before," Gemna stated.

"How so? Akira asks.

Gemna pulls up a screen, which displays Memento Mori along with her stats. "As you can see, Memento Mori's energy source is through Aoi alone. The more she drains from her, the more powerful she gets. Here is her stats when she posses Haruma" He presses a button on the screen and the screen switches to show her previous stats. "And now, here is her stats when she posses Aoi" The screen switches again and everyone gasps.

"Unbelievable" said Akira.

"She is getting stronger by the minute. If she continues to drain Aoi, there will be no stopping her," Oragon said as he looks at the screen.

"That is not all. If she continues to drain Aoi, then....there will be a chance that Aoi will.." Just before Gemna, he was interrupted by the sound of metal crushed

"No...there is got to be a way to save Aoi!" Ren rejected as his knuckles beings to bleed from impact.

"Ren" Mana whispers as she watches Ren shaking in fear and sadness. She turns to Genma and asks, "Is there a way to separate Aoi from Memento Mori?"

"There is a way to separate Aoi from Memento Mori" Genma pulls out another screen, revealing a mysterious object. "This is Aoi's life force. As you can see the vines around it, that means Memento Mori is controlling her. The more you attack Memento Mori, the weaker the bond becomes however, if Aoi's life force turns pitch black," He presses another button and an animation shows the life force changes to pitch black, "There is no chance of returning, her life force will melt away, and she'll be a mindless puppet without a soul."

"So scary," Minami said as she watches in horror the animation of the life force turning pitch black.

"So there is a way to save her," Mana said.

"Where is she now?" Akira asks.

"There wasn't any monster signal ever since. Why don't you all get some rest? I'll keep a look out for any monster signal," Genma suggested as he continues to work.

While Ren, Mana, Minami, Oragon, and Akira leave the room, Genma pulls out his cell phone and dials a number. "Hey, it's me. I want you to keep a look out for Memento Mori."

"Got it dad," Haruma answers as he hangs up the phone.

"Memento Mori again?" Lucy asks as she continues to drink her frozen slushie.

"This time, she got Aoi," said Haruma. "I don't know what her goal is but we got to find her."

"Aww. Looking for me my dear?"

Suddenly, the air around them got heavier and the scene around them disappears, leaving only a field of red flowers. Haruma turns around and spots Aoi behind him. "MEMENTO MORI!"

"Surprised the see me? You should be but don't worry, I have no need of you anymore. Aoi is the perfect vessel and I got to say, her energy is so..delicious," Memento Mori said as she licks her lips.

Disgusted, Haruma pulls out his cellphone while Lucy transforms into her fallen angel form. "Memento Mori, I will never forgive you. I defeated you once. I will defeat you again! Strike Shot!"
