I don't quite get it. Why would they make a big deal about me meeting Zayn? I mean he's also a jerk like Harry. So why is Harry making such a big deal about this?
*Flashback*
I walk down the empty hall to put away the extra studying book Mrs. Nichols gave to me. When I slam the locker, there's a face behind it. It's a boy. He has dark black hair, puffed up, big brown-hazel eyes, he's wearing a beanie and a black varsity jacket. He smirks. "Done checking me out?" he asks. I glare at the cocky boy. "Who are you?" I ask. "Zayn." He says and smirks. I glare at him and cross my arms across my chest. "What do you want?" I ask. He smirks, "To take you out on a date." "That's too bad, because I'm not available." His face drops and I shrug. He grabs my wrist and clenches his jaw. "Who are you taken by?" I shrug, "That's for me to know and you to find out." I know it was a lie...well I guess it isn't since I haven't broken things off with Bradley. But I could tell he was trouble. Zayn, I mean.
*end of flashback*
I mean I don't get it, I know he's trouble, but I just met him. We just...talked. It wasn't that big of a deal. I get up, and go to Nana. "Joy, would ya like some cottage cheese?" She asks in her accent. I smile politely and nod. She hands me a sandwich. After I eat, I couldn't get wait any longer. "Nana?" I ask and she looks up, "Yes dear?" I can't shrug this off, ugh. "Why did..why did you react..like that when Harry said I met Zayn?" Her eyes narrow. "Zayn..Zayn. Okay, sweetie. Zayn has dated a lot of girls. Zayn dated Harry's best friend, Daniella. And he embarrassed her. She moved. Her and Harry weren't even friends," she says, before she was cut off. "It's not her damn business Ma!" Harry says raising his voice. I get up. "I'm sorry.. I had to-," his eyes darken, "You didn't have to know anything." He yells and grabs my wrist. "Harry, let go!" I say. Nana's eyes widen, and he slaps me, hard, across the face. Tears sting my eyes. "You're such a jerk! You act like I was going to tell someone when I don't know anyone here!" I yell and run upstairs.
I slam the door behind me. There's no lock on it. I sob into my pillow. I hear the door open. I'd expect it to be Nana, but it's Harry. "Get out." I say quietly. He comes closer. "I said GET out." I say, raising my voice. He stays quiet. "If I had a lock in this door, I would lock you out." I said between sobs. He starts to say something but I cut him off. "I...I ..I didn't even wanna come here..I wanted..to..find," I stopped and muffled into my pillow. Harry locks the door. "I..I thought.. that door didn't have a lock." I say. "It..it did you just didn't know how to use these kind of locks." He says. I sit quietly and he sits on the wooden chair by my bed, and we stay quiet. He breaks the silence. "I'm sorry I slapped you." I look up. "It's..okay." I say quietly. "You can leave now." I say again. He doesn't move. "Why aren't you leaving?" I asked. He smiles, for the first time ever. "Because I want to stay."
