My First Day Back

Just want to take you, if you're going to read this!

It's a privilege to write this for you guys, and yes. This story is about my life.

Keep in mind that I am just going to use my online name "Sakura" and not my real name.

It was my first day back at primary, it felt so weird being a year 6 now, even though it must be normal for most students. I had skipped 1 week off of school due to me still being on a holiday in Bangladesh, Dhaka; It was fun being there but I just missed seeing my friends until now.

The moment I exited out of my classroom, I saw my friend Gabby running towards me and instantly pulled me into a death hug. "G-Gabby-Can't breath!" I say, struggling to keep my breath, "Oh, sorry. It's just I'm so happy that your back! I missed you a lot while you were away" Gabby says as she releases me "I-it's fine, just don't hug me to death next time, please" I say as I regain my breath.

"Well, I think you should start heading off now, school is about to start in a few minutes. I'll see you after school, Love you!" I say to both my mum and aunty "Ok, bye Sakura. See you after school" They both reply as they hug me and kiss me goodbye, I then see them disappear into the distance. "Well, shall we go to class, Sakura? We'll see you at interval ok Khushnaz!" Gabby said to my enemy, before grabbing my hand and leading me to our class.

As we went to class I saw my teacher, Mrs. Walker. "Hello, Sakura. It's a pleasure to meet you finally, I see you already know Gabrielle. You call her Gabby though, right?" Mrs. Walker greeted "Yes, Gabby prefers "Gabby" instead of Gabrielle" I reply to Mrs. Walker's question. But before Mrs. Walker could reply, she gets cut off by a shout, the shout alerted me to to the hallway entrance, I then see my best friend, Kayla Hallows. Kayla!" I shout as I fun to her tackling into a hug, she then hugs me back but harder "Sakura! I missed you so much" Kayla replies with happiness filled in her voice "I missed you too," I say with a joyful tone as we basically hug until Mrs. Walker pulls us apart like a teddy being pulled away like a little girl "Ok girls, that's enough. The bell is about to ring" Mrs. Walker said, just before the bell rang.

"Ah, finally, it's interval, time to eat food!" I say as I quickly grab my lunch and rush outside and sit down on the bench. "Food! Oh how much I just love ya!" I sing as I start shoving my mouth with my delicious lunch while chatting with my friends. "So, what did everyone do in the holidays?" Gabby asked, "Hm! I just spent time with my family and went out to places" Kayla replied, While Khushnaz just nodded and said the same thing. "So what did you do, Sakura?" Kayla asked as I snapped out of my food land. "Huh? What are we talking about?" I asked, completely dazed out "Just talking about what we did in our holidays" Gabby replied to my dazed out question. "O-oh! R-right, well I went to Bangladesh to see my grandparents and that's it really" I say as I look away embarrassed, and just going back to eating my food. "Ok, well we should pack our stuff away, the bell is going to ring any minute now," Gabby said as I groan and reply in a pout "Awe, but I wanna continue eating!", "Sadly Sakura, It's a part of the school," Gabby said as she got up and went to put her lunch away on her back, I then groan and do the same.

"Ugh! Finally Lunch! Say Gabby, Kayla! What do you suggest we do now? Oh, and do any of you guys have any lunch? I'm starving because I ate all of mine in morning tea, ahaha~" I say with a nervous laughter at the end of my sentence as they just torment me with questions on why would I just eat all of my lunch in morning tea, well just don't ask me that. "Hmm, why don't we just go walk around the school and maybe see or old teachers?" Gabby suggested, so we just went with her plan and went to see out teachers.

After we went to see all our previous teachers, it was the end of lunch, we then headed back to class and got sat down, doing another boring lesson, but yet ok.

It was finally the end of school and everyone was walking to out of the class to get their bags, I was one of the last because of the number of students struggling to the get passed the door. I stayed a little bit behind so I can have a little chat with my teacher. "So, how was your first day, Sakura?" Mrs. Walker asked. "Oh! It was ok I guess" I replied in a steady tone. "Well. I have to go now, see you tomorrow Mrs.Walker" I said as I packed my stuff and finished.
