“OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS”, my cousin, Katie, and I yelled. Today was the last day of school and my mum just gave us amazing news. We’re going to Los Angeles for a whole month. Just us girls no little kids on this trip. HA! My mum had told me that I could bring another friend but I didn’t know who so I asked Katie.
“I don’t know you help me”, I told her.
We both said it at the same time. “Jordan!”
You guys might be wondering “who is this girl?” So I’ll properly introduce myself. I’m Stephanie just an average 14 year old girl. I'm not the tallest girl out there, black hair, big hazel eyes, and I'm super shy at first. I comes from a Latino family but I also have a secret. Most kids want to become a doctor, a lawyer, or a police officer but me I want to become a successful singer. I’ve always had a passion for music that no one even knew about. I live in a small town here in California that most people don’t even know about. I have an amazing and supportive family but being a singer isn’t something that they agree on. So now you guys know who I am.
“That’s perfect” I told Katie.
Jordan is one of our best guy friends that we trust and care about and he’s amazing. We decided to call him.
* Phone Call *
Jordan: Hello?
Me: Hey J it’s your gorgeous friend Steph.
Jordan: HA! What’s up?
Me: Do you have plans for this whole month?
Jordan: umm ... hold up * yelling in the background * NOPE. My mom’s working and dad’s doing his usual business … why?
Me: Great do you wanna go to LA with Katie, my mom, and me? Pwease?
Jordan: YEAH! I don’t wanna be here with Justin anyways.
Me: Okay we leave Friday morning. I’ll text you the details.
Jordan: k. see ya soon. HA!
* End of Phone Call *
“Now gotta tell my mum that J’s coming with us”, I told Katie.
“Are you sure cos’ don’t get me wrong but J’s a guy and you know what your mum thinks about guys”, Katie said.
“She loves J”, I told her.
With that being said we ran downstairs and asked my mum in the kitchen.
“Please can he come”, Katie and I whined.
“Girls I don’t know why you guys are whining about I already said yes”, my mum told us. At the moment we started jumping and yelling all around the house. We later decided to go upstairs in my room and just chill.
“So you stoked to go to LA Kat?” I asked Katie (Kat’s my nickname for her and she calls me Steph).
“No duh I might meet my future husband there”, she said.
Oh this girl cracks me up. With that response we both passed out in the middle of our conversation.
