The time has come for you to choose between the five factions: Abnegation (The Selfless), Amity (The Peaceful), Candor (The Honest), Dauntless (The Brave), and Erudite (The Intelligent). Your first step is the Aptitude Test. This test will show you which faction you belong in. Next is the Choosing Ceremony, which you will stay with for the rest of your life. Faction before blood.

Each faction has their own initiation requirements and set of rules. Unable to follow the rules or complete the initiation result in removal from your current faction and you will become factionless.

Every faction has a manifesto that explain the ideals that each member aspires.
Abnegation: The Selfless -"I choose to turn away from my reflection. To rely not on myself, but on my brothers and sisters. To project always outward. Until I disappear."
Amity: The Peaceful -"You must no longer think cruel thoughts. Cruel thoughts lead to cruel words, and hurt you as much as they hurt their target."
Candor: The Honest -"Truth makes us transparent. Truth makes us strong. Truth makes us inextricable."
Erudite: The Intelligent -"Intelligence is a gift, not a right. It must be wielded not as a weapon but as a tool for the betterment of others."
Dauntless: The Brave -"We believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
