" no no! Please come back! Kill me not him. Please!" I see my dad and try to run to him before he gets shot but it was to late.
"Noooo!" I scream and i finally wake up from my nightmare. I feel dizzy and theres sweat running down my forehead. I breath rapidly and try to calm myself down but break into tears of the terrible memory.
"If only i wouldve listened" i murmer and sob silently after a few minutes my mom comes running in with a worried expression on her face.
"Are you ok? What happened? Are you hurt?" She asks afraid of something happening. I just hang my head low and continue sobbing silently.
I lift my head up slowly and look at her. She sees my face and frowns. She sits on my bed and pulls me into her warm arms.
"Its ok sweetie im here." She says patting my head gently. I just hug her tightly and cry my heart out into her shoulder.
"Your here but hes not. If i wouldve listened this wouldnt have happened. Im so sorry im so stupid." I say crying more and more but she grabs me by my shoulders and pulls me apart from her to look at her.
"Do not say that it wasnt your fault. We made mistakes and we had to pay but it was those cruel heartless jerks who are at fault of your fathers death. Did you put a gun to your fathers head?" She asks me but im not satisfied it really was my fault if we wouldve left he would be here with us.
"No i didnt. I just dont know. I messed up. I would do anything to take away this fear and guilt. I made a mistake as well. Im a sinner. I wish i could disappear." She kisses my sweaty forehead and lays me down on the bed.
"Dont ever say it was your fault and want to disappear . Everyday may not be good but theres good in everyday." I just nod my head theres no point in arguing with her she will end up winning the argument. I will never be able to have peace knowing that i caused my father to die."At least not until i find his killer."
