A crisp,summer breeze pierces through the water dew forest.The air was breezy due to the previous nights rain shower.Animals sleep in their cozy nests,if not hunting for a good feast.A young garden spider lurks about the wet patches of land,making its first hunt of prey since birth.Unable to find any good edibles,shivering in the cold,it lays still under a roses petal.
As it lays there under the petal waiting for the sun warm and bright beams to fill the night blank canvas above,a warmth surrounds the young spider,rising it from the ground.As the sudden warmth open,the spider opens all eight eyes to reveal a young girl with yellow eyes."Eye" to be exact.The other seemed to be covered with a dull grey patch attached to the glasses she was wearing.As if she was a pirate.The only odd thing about her was something on her head.A pair of oddly shaped horns or antennae coming out of her head in the colors of red,orange,and yellow.
"There,there little guy.I won't bite,"she calmly whispered.Her other hand was closed until now to reveal some dead ants and some bread crumbs.The spider only stared with wide eyes on how scrumptious the food looked.
"You can eat them,you know.I didn't come out here for you to just stare at it,"She snapped.The spider slowly proceeded to jump to her other hand and start stuffing in all the crumbs.The young girl giggled"You sure are a hungry one,aren't cha?".The spider gave a small nod.When he finished very last bit of scraps she had,they began to walk.She placed him on her shoulder,giving the spider a better view of his surroundings.
"I'm Vriska",she finally said
