Ch.1- school sucks

Novas pov:
Do you ever just sit somewhere and ponder your existence...well I'm doing that now. I'm a senior in high school about to graduate tomorrow and I don't even know what I want to do with my life. I've always wanted to make music but I just haven't found the right people to start a band with. "Nova?... earth to nova?"
I came out of my thought to have My eyes dart to the the person who's voice that belonged to. "Yes ivory ?" I said in annoyed tone finding out that it was my best friend who got my attention. "Guess what?" She said excitedly, a little too excited if you ask me but who cares what I think. "What ivory? I was busy working then you came over here and  interrupted me" I said nonchalantly. "Girl when I came over here you were lost in your own thoughts so if you call that doing work then sign me up, anyway I was going to tell you that i may or may not have just gottenusticketstoseepalayeroyale!!"
She screamed that last part leaving me confused or as I like to say confuzzled. " are you on drugs? Also what the hell did you just say?" I asked with a serious face then laughing. She gave me a smirk then continued talking "you know it jk, anyway I said I got us tickets to see Palaye Royale! And the best part is it's the night after graduation." She finished her sentence happily. Omfg did she just say Palaye Royale as in the greatest band to ever exist. Ahhhhhh fangirl moment. I look up to meet ivory's gaze then jump up and give her a huge hug saying thank you over and over again. "It's okay but be ready by 4pm because I want to get there early" I just nod in response. "GIRLS NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE TALKING,even though you graduate tomorrow your still in school so NO talking" my English teacher yelled at us making us jump not expecting it.

*skip to graduation day*

"Ivory I can't believe we're graduating high school, Ive know you since elementary school and you've been my best friend ever  since. Also I'm so happy we're going to the palaye concert together it's gonna be fun." I said with a smile on my face. She just looked up at me and hugged me because her being the 5ft3 girl she was and me being 5ft6 she was short. "Did I ever tell you how short you are?" I asked while laughing. Making her break the hug and playfully punch me and give me her famous shut up look. Which made me look at her and then start laughing her soon to join in. It was soon time to graduate the principal made all these speeches about how great the students were and all about this year and other stuff that I could care less about. My name was called, and I happily pranced across stage grabbing my diploma wanting nothing else then to get off this campus and to say bye bye to my school life. Which is exactly what I did with ivory.

I was driving ivory back to her house but before we left the parking lot she said something that surprised me " hey high school graduate you wanna have a sleepover?" She asked suddenly which caused me to give her a strange look.       " we haven't had a sleep over since we were  16 and you still haven't told me why so why the sudden Change of mind?" I asked seriously because I missed having sleepovers with her, "I'll tell you a little bit later, but for now wanna have one ?" She asked With hope gleaming in her eyes. I nodded yes in response, we soon got to her house and got settled in...might have partied a bit but it's fine she lives alone. We soon fell asleep in her bed awaiting tomorrow morning.
