"You're just distracting me," Chenle giggled, looking at Renjun, who was sitting beside him, playing some kind of video game in his phone. "You go home."
"I've got nothing to do at home." Renjun groaned, placing his forehead on Chenle's shoulder, the shorter leaning closer to him.
"You've got nothing to do here." The shorter reasoned, making Renjun groan again.
"But I'd rather stay here." Renjun grinned at Chenle, who rolled his eyes and continued his reviewing.
They were quiet, but a very comfortable quiet. Renjun was still playing in his phone, but this time, he had his forehead on top of Chenle's shoulder, and his hair was falling down onto his face as he played.
Chenle liked this kind of quiet, he could think about his thoughts, and he could still feel Renjun's presence. He closed his book and placed the pen down, rubbing his eyes as he processed all of the information he just got.
"Done?" Renjun asked, looking at Chenle's sprawled out notebooks and books.
"I think so." Chenle answered, rubbing his eyes as he fell back onto his bed. He removed his hands away from his eyes, seeing Renjun look down at him. "What?"
"Nothing." Renjun grinned, standing up from Chenle's bed and shouldering his bag, making Chenle sit up on his bed.
"You're going home now?" Chenle asked, quite frantically.
"Yeah," Renjun smiled, ruffling Chenle's hair, making the shorter pout. "So you can rest."
"Okay." The shorter answered, making Renjun chuckle slightly.
"We'll meet at school tomorrow, Lele." Renjun said, making the shorter nod. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay." Chenle smiled slightly, earning a smile from Renjun again.
"I'll lock the door." The elder said, before turning around and walking out of Chenle's room, before giving the younger a swift wave.
Chenle heard the door close, he sighed. He's alone again. He fell back onto his spacious bed, eyes trained onto the white ceiling on top of him.

"Renjun-hyung?" Chenle whispered on his phone, keeping as quiet as possible.
"Chenle? Did something happen?" Renjun's sleepy voice on the other line answered, Chenle felt a bit guilty for waking the elder up, but he couldn't contain his feelings.
"Yeah," Chenle whispered, he heard shuffling from the other line, and a door closing. "But not bad." The line went quiet for a moment, before he heard Renjun sigh.
"What happened?"
"I saw Mom." Chenle whispered again, whipping his head back to the door, making sure no one was there. "She was dropped off by someone."
"Isn't that a good thing?"
"It is," Chenle pouted a bit. "But what if–"
"Lele," Renjun's voice was surprisingly deep as he spoke. "Stop it with the what if's. If something happened talk to your Mom, or me, or the others."
"I'm just scared."
"Don't be." Renjun assured. "We're right here."

The next morning, Chenle woke up a bit late, good thing his alarm still saved him. He took a quick shower, before dressing in his uniform and running downstairs, to meet his Mom cooking a quick breakfast for the both of them.
"Morning, Lele." His Mom greeted, Chenle placed plates and utensils on the table.
"Morning, Mom." The teenager smiled, and was about to grab the milk from the fridge when his Mom spoke again.
"Lele," The said male looked at his Mom, while silently and carefully pulling out the carton of milk from the refrigerator. "Come home early today, alright?"
"Why?" Chenle asked, sitting down and pouring himself a glass of milk.
"I'd like you to meet someone." And Chenle never felt so nervous about a meeting before.
