KATHLEEN
"So, what do you want to do after school?" My best friend, Aria, asked me.
I looked at her with a plain expression on my face. "Sleep. I want to sleep and sleep even more. And after that... I want to sleep again."
She smiled. "You know that when you sleep a lot, you might die of hunger or even worse."
"As long as I sleep, I really- Hey, watch out!" I said.
And before I knew it, she was lying on the ground with her face and shirt covered with fruit punch. I felt so guilty I shredded a few tears. "Come on, get yourself cleaned up."
But she still stood there on the ground. Then, with the index finger, she touched her cheek and putted it her mouth. "The fruit punch's good, you should taste it, Kat."
That is why she's my best friend, she is never negative about anything. When we met in kindergarten, she said that if I wanted to be her friend, I had to be myself and join on to her weirdness and awesomeness. I always laughed when I thought of that memory.
As she got up, Andrew here, the meanest guy on the whole school said,
"What did you do to my fruit punch?"
"Are you blind? Can't you see she has it all over her-"
"It's ok, Kat." Aria interrupted me.
She got up and gave me a look that it meant that I needed to calm down. And that's what I hate about her, she always let's things slip and never defends herself. She is so nice to be true.
He scoffed. "Hey! You need to stop drinking coffee to not be some troublemaker around school, especially me."
Then, she firmly said,
"I'd stop drinking coffee, but I'm not a quitter."
There was a long pause between all of us. Then, he stared at Aria's shirt and said,
"I never knew you were A Cup."
She frowned and picked up the backpack that was in the floor with fruit punch all over it and covers her chest. Why did she had to wear a white shirt today? Why today?
The girls behind him... chicks, as he says, were staring at her with disgrace and they mocked her. I couldn't stand it, so I grabbed the soda that was on my backpack and spread it all over his body, starting with his face.
"Come on, let's go, Aria." I grabbed her by the wrist and we went to the bathroom.
As we got there, I gave her a shirt that I had on my backpack for emergencies like this. "Here, change into that shirt and clean your backpack, ok?"
She nodded.
I sighed. "I'm sorry that I didn't do anything, next time I will-"
"Next time you don't have to do anything. By the way, they will know that they're winning if you do something to them."
I rubbed my forehead and sighed again. "Anyway, I will wait for you in the hallway."
She nodded again.

As school finished, I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. Then, I saw Aria running up to me.
"Hey! There is a party over at Andrew's house, they sent me an invitation, but I don't want to go alone. So, can you come with me? You know how much I hate to be a loner. "
I sighed, she could have told me earlier. Now I have to take the bus because they told me... you know, the ones who are going to the party, that it was instantly after school. So I guess I have no choice. And I don't have any plans, so...
"All right, let's go. Just let me call my mom so I can tell her that she doesn't have to pick me up. "
She nodded and she walked away.

As we got to the party, everything was messed up. Drunk dudes, girls with mini skirts, which I hated because they make you look like a n idiot! Then, someone grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me and Aria to a place where they were boys and girls playing...
Oh no, they were playing truth or dare.
Nothing weird is going to happen, Kathleen. I mean, it's just a game... right???
But it was too late to go away from there, and before I knew it, it was my turn.
"Kathleen, truth or dare?" Andrew asked me.
I don't want to do awful and weird things. "I pick truth."
"Ok, is it true that you kissed the meanest dude on school?"
Oh, come on, I was 4 years old! I didn't knew my name!
"Yes, but I regretted it." I said glaring at him.
"Oh, ok. Who's turn is it?" He said. Then, he points at Aria. "You. Truth or dare?"
Please don't choose dare, please don't choose-
"I've never played this game before, so dare seems ok." She said.
I covered my face with my hands. What has she gotten into?
