The room was loud. Everyone was chanting "fight" simultaneously. Alex could barely hear the music teacher trying to shut everyone up. It was impossible.
Alex grabbed a chair and hit Callum on the head. He fell to the ground. Alex cheered. He'd won the fight! "It was very easy," he said to himself.
Everyone complained about how Alex had won and that it was such a short fight. No one noticed the Headteacher coming into the classroom and taking Alex and Callum out. The headteacher shouted at Alex and sent him to the reflection room. His parents were called. He was given a detention. It was put on his school record. Alex thought he'd ruined his life. He asked himself if he'd ever had a life in the first place. He didn't know himself, to be honest, he only knew one thing.
He wasn't going to be living it much longer.
