"Goodnight Emily" mum whispered in my ear "I love you so much baby girl just remember that."

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I ran out of bed and into mums room

"MUM! Mum?" She wasn't in there. This is confusing she is always there

I skipped downstairs not to worried she must be downstairs I thought

When I got down stairs she wasn't there either but all that was left was a note

Dear my baby girl Emily Plumer,

We have left to flee the country now because of something bad daddy did and I can't leave him

Please look after yourself I hope you grow up to be a beautiful young woman and I am sorry that I will never see you again

I was really confused so I went next door where Mrs Arterie lives and she opened up but then promptly shut it again after she saw it was me and I didn't know what I had done. I cried and cried until a off duty police officer found me and took me in to the police station.

After a few days I was put into an care home for children before I was fostered and taken in by the Fallers who were such a nice couple at first but as soon as I got to their house they abused me and called me worthless and horrid and hit me slapped me and raped me.

When I got put back into another care home I was shaken up and didn't talk to anyone for at least a year then I was fostered by couple after couple who were all really nice but the didn't like me that much and always went for the other children.

Until one day a couple with a daughter about to go off to university came in wanting a 12 year old girl to adopt and I fitted that box so I was brought to them and I really liked them so much so in the end I was adopted by them

I'm 16 now and I treated them like my parents that I never really had only for 5 years of my life. I sat down wondering about this and how it could have all happened again but this family (the Hinks) were really lovely people who would never think of even doing that to me so what has even happened no note just nothing and no one is next door...
